“Lovely comfortable accommodation”
Reviewed 29 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Aside from some very minor issues this is a very comfortable, clean, well appointed accommodation with no damp. The decor is modern and tasteful. You get a clear view of the Needles
and the Isle of Wight.
The beach is just across the road but is very stoney.
Only issues are the back entrance isn't clearly marked, no placemats and the bedroom door doesn't shut.
Would recommend this accommodation wholeheartedly.

“lovely stayl”
Reviewed 1 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Just returned from this lovely appt. Every thing you need for a chilled out week away. Very cosy and comfortable. Nothing has been missed by the owners. They even left us some welcome basics. Much appreciated. The beds were comfy and waking up to the sound of the sea was great. It's a great base to explore the area and we had some lovely cliff top walks as well as crabbing in nearby mudeford and visiting Alice in wonderland for the kids. A big hit. Thank you we would love to return.

“A perfect place in a great location”
Reviewed 9 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

The apartment was easy to find, but took a few attempts to work out which back door was the right one for the property. Once in we were really impressed with what we found. We all gave it the thumbs up (parents and 2 girls aged 12 and 10). The presence of the jacuzzi meant that we didn't need to nag kids into having baths in the evening, so pretty perfect. The rooms were all clean, well decorated, loads of storage space, and the kitchen had pretty much everything you could want. Some milk, bread and butter had kindly been left for us saving us the trouble of getting some before putting the kettle on...so thanks Tara for that.
The living space was great, a big dining room table and an enormous sofa to provide a bit of comfort in the evenings. Barton is a wonderfully peaceful spot, huge grassy areas along the cliffs to kick a ball around in, and walks along the beach (rather stony) were lovely in the evening. Saw some beautiful sunsets, and definitely felt that we had picked our spot well.
Nearby were some great place to visit - Moore Valley country park was beautiful, and great for kids, Naish beach very nearby was sandy, good for body boarding, and quiet if you walked a bit further on from the car park café and Burley for cycle hire was a brilliant day.
All in all, a great place to go for families, looking for a quiet spot but with lots to do.

“Just what we wanted!!”
Reviewed 23 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend for my dads 60th birthday. It was exactly what we needed!!
The flat is a first floor maisonette split over two floors with bedrooms upstairs and living room and kitchen downstairs.
The place was clean and tidy and everything we needed had been already thought of and provided. The owner even came over to give us some stair gates as we have a little toddler.

There isn't much around, a (quite expensive) restaurant and cafe across the road along with a convenience store that sells pretty much sure everything.
There is a pub about a 15 minute walk away that serves good food.
The beach is literally opposite the house and the views of the sea and the Isle of Wight are great.

All in all it ticked all the boxes.

“Excellent, homely flat and beautiful location”
Reviewed 25 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

The flat is very homely, spread across two floors. If you go in through the rear door, you enter the kitchen, which is very well equipped - still rare in my view for rentals - and on to the lounge. It was quite cold when we got there, but the combi boiler kicks in quickly and the flat insulation keeps that heat in.
There are three bedrooms (one of which has a bathroom in it). The main bedroom has all the storage you'd need, a TV and a comfortable bed. The views in the morning are beautiful - you can even see the needles (I think) from the window.
Barton-on-Sea is home to some lovely people who we met, but please be warned, if you're a young couple, there is not a lot to do hear, bar walking on the beach.

Pros:
Well presented flat with great views overlooking the beach and sea.
Flat is well equipped for any holiday
Warm on the cold nights
Beautiful area

Cons
Internet speeds (although this is being really niggly; just glad there was internet)

Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
