Just returned from a 2 night stay, Food Excellent, rooms are above average and very clean,
Staff very attentive nothing to much trouble and very friendly,
This is one Inn that we will definately be returning to not because of the real ale but because everything was of top quality.

Primarily a contemporary pub restaurant with excellent food. There are two rooms upstairs which are very fitted out to a contemporary, high standard. Both with ensuites, TV's, settee, luxury bedding, towels etc. Very quiet surroundings, close to Burnham Market. Very friendly welcome by owners, and breakfast was anything we wanted. Would definately use again when next in Norfolk.

Room Tip: Only two rooms, both equal quality, Middle Room probably a little larger.

Great food and service. The portions on the plate where more than adequate and very well presented. A very good selection of wine and real ales all wrapped up in a beautiful old english pub with a contemporary feel.
We will be back!!

Food is very good and value for money. The seating is perhaps a little awkward and uncomfortable particularly in the bar area. The beer is good and I would have expected it to have been presented without the sparkler on the pump. The staff are friendly be it they appear quite tense when under pressure. The two rooms are first class and for the area are under valued. The gardens outside ( which the rooms look onto) can be noisy if drinkers on a summer evening decide to sit in them. They offer a continental style of breakfast which is good enough if you don't want a "full english." The rooms have tea making facilities but strangely no coffee. The pub also has camping facilities. At this point in time I would have said it is an up and coming pub having just been taken over in the last month. Certainly worth a look if you don't want to pay the top prices of other eating establsihments in the area.

Room Tip: The End room is probably the nicest of the two.

My husband and I stayed at this amazing 'treasure' of a place during the first week of the April school holidays. Initially we booked a double room for a 2 night stay but ended up eating in the restaurant as the atmosphere/staff/food and surroundings were superb. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner/staff and the room was spotless and comfortable and of high quality. We will certainly be returning when we can find time to get away again. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It is very near the north Norfolk coast and near many excellent attractions for a day out. It is one of Norfolk's little hideaway 'treasures'. Do give it a go........you will not be disappointed!
