what a great place to get away from everything, no tv no internet, no phone, totally off the grid,
loved the place, well furnished and comfortable
We had 6 days of glorious weather in Seglien. Enjoyed exploring local area by bike setting off from our gite base - very helpful maps and tourist information in the cottage.
Cottage was well equipped and very nice patio to enjoy lunch outside - bottle of wine to welcome us was a nice touch.
Very clean and comfortable and altho no shops in the village it's easy to get to local shops.
Recommend visit to Pontivy, Auray and also St Anne D'Auray en route .
Wifi hotspot is in a barn very close by - not in the house itself - not a huge drawback - nice to drop off social media for a few hours!

Nice Cottage Just right for two. Only down side no local shops. Need to travel to get groceries.
Very peaceful an ideal place to relax and unwind. We will be back to rent this cottage again
We stayed here from 11 to 17 September 2015.
The cottage is very easy to find, just down from the village square.
On arrival you can tell the cottage is well looked after. Once we entered it was clean and tidy with even a lovely bottle of wine on the table on arrival. Nice touch.
The cottage has everything you need for every room. All utensils you may need in the kitchen up to what you may need in the bathroom.
You will need a car to get around with. We drove our own so that was easy to do.
The local town Guémené-sur-Scorff has a really lovely restaurant/bar called Aux Sabots Rouge, run by an English couple. The food was the best we had all week.
Pontivy is also a nice local town (30 mins).
Our favourite town was Josselin (45mins). Just beautiful.
The weather was mixed so on a couple of occasions we stayed at the cottage for a large part of the day. Equally on a sunny day we used the Scrabble provided on the patio table then off to the deckchairs in our garden with our glasses of wine.
All in all a lovely, relaxing time. Clean, well presented, decorated cottage. A definite visit if you're thinking of staying in central Brittany.
The cottage had the wow factor when we walked in, looking clean, nicely furnished and the spiral staircase was a novelty. There is plenty to do in the area which is quiet, peaceful with little traffic. Lovely walks (and cycle rides) from the house and along a nearby disused railway line. Good base for exploring Brittany.
A wonderful week at Croquignolet. The cottage based in Seglien is well equipped and set in idyllic countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Brittany and it was great to be able to relax in the cottage at the end of a long day. The village of Guemene-sur-Scorff, a stones throw from Seglien, is stunning and has a selection of shops and restaurants as well as the most delightful Tabac as you enter.
Thank you to Damian and Georgina, we had a super break at your cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to escape for a while.
Croquinolet is the perfect place to stay whilst holidaying in Brittany. The cottage has everything you need and is very well equipped. There's a spacious garden area where you can relax and enjoy the weather and a barbecue for those long summer evenings.
Seglien itself is a typically sleepy French village however the locals are very friendly and welcoming.
The surrounding area is a pleasant surprise with lots of really interesting towns and villages close by.
The area is also well served with restaurants, bars and good supermarkets only minutes away.
We would thoroughly recommend this Gite for a quiet couples holiday.
