“A beautiful cottage in the Highlands”
Reviewed 16 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We stayed in this cottage last week and honestly I want to move in. It's a beautifully converted granary, open plan on the main floor with utility room and toilet leading off the entry, moving into the main area, with sitting, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is huge and really well equipped with 2 fridges. There is wifi in the property and board games and dvds for your use as well as broadband tv.

Downstairs are two double bedrooms sharing a huge hallway modern bathroom and a double with an ensuite.

The property is in Ballindalloch in grounds beside a few holiday lodges. There is a stream and a great walk behind the property. It is very near to several whisky distilleries, lots of walks and a few castles. Just 6 miles to a large coop for supplies and Tesco deliver to the property, so you can put in an order before you go.

We had a meal at Delnashaugh Hotel which is very nearby and it was excellent.

If you have a car you can take trips to Braemar, Inverness, Loch Ness and Elgin. Just beyond Elgin there is a great beach at Lossiemouth.
