I stayed at the resort to celebrate the 5th anniversary White Party. The rooms are clean comfortable and tastefully decorated. The swimming pool is amazing! Great staff, good food, music and atmosphere. Sunday brunch is delicious and the wagyu beef is to die for!
Fine wines great cigars and an amazing saxophone player!

We stayed in one of the new beach Bungalows and LOVED it. The room was a perfect size for the 2 of us. I found breakfast to be the same as every other island we had been to on the trip, which was served in front of their cafe. We did not attend the "famous" brunch, mostly because we wanted to venture off around the island. The staff was incredible. We had a great time teaching the bartenders, Big Boi and Sue, how to play Dominos. The people at the front desk also helped us mail packages home, and informed us that the locals were not allowed to ask for passports when renting out scooters. (very helpful tip) They have mountain bikes on property, and I highly recommend taking them. Laundry is expensive on the property, but you can go down the road and find a woman who will do your laundry for about $2.

Room Tip: The Beach Bungalows are the way to go. Very spacious and modern.

Lovely stay at nikki beach, food fabulous and a beer with special fried rice large portions and bread and oil as starter.€. 9.00
Sunday brunch is too expensive with renting a bed especially as a hotel guest already. However you can stay away from that, by being at the other pool or on the beach. Eating on the Sunday night in hotel restersunt , the staff are tired and the seats are a bit dirty , but that we only found that on a Sunday.
You don't have to be rich and famous to afford here and the staff are lovely.
So don't be put off by some of the comments.
Breakfast is good, just put a bit more fruit on the menu.

We stayed at the new part in a sea view suite for 9days. Very nice room. The beach on the the new part is very small however, the two villas take up 75% of the space. Service is perfect. The prices for the same bungalows on the old part increased a lot from 2013.

This hotel is all about the Sunday brunch and the rooms. There are no other hotel 'grounds' to really speak of. The rooms are beautiful. Gorgeous design and furnishings and very large with fabulous bathrooms. Each room has a large terrace. Perfect for spending vast amounts of time on. You can hear the pool tunes but not too loudly and enjoy a side view of the sea whilst getting a massage. Sunday brunch was fantastic. The food was the best I had throughout my whole week in koh samui. The music and vibe were excellent and people come from all over the island to party here on Sundays. Finishes early but you're so intoxicated by then you don't mind!

However, the hotel only had 5 rooms booked I think. This makes it very hard to have any sense of atmosphere and the place felt soulless other than on Sunday. At lunchtime a few couples in their 50s and 60s would come and lounge around the pool - felt odd!!

The marketing strategy appears fundamentally flawed - they are an upmarket party hotel positioned on an island of backpackers and honeymooners. But they have priced out the backpackers and the honeymooners don't want to stay there. They should do at least 2 brunches a week to be able to meet the expectation of the guests that do decide to stay. We left as we couldn't tolerate the lack of people and there was nothing to do/eat locally. I should however note that all the room terraces are looking onto each other so a full hotel would mean no privacy and probably not much peace. Perhaps the lack of people was down to the political climate in Thailand or maybe not. It was just such a shame as there is so much potential to be an amazing hotel all round.

The beach is stunning. White sand and very private, clean and quiet. Breakfast is held at the hotel cafe - this was terrible. Poor choice and the room is so hot and filled with Mosquitos that the uncovered food looked unsanitary. Omelette station was good though and great coffee.

Customer service was mixed. The non locals were superb. Service before arrival was wonderful - arranging airport pick up and getting hotel information. However several staff were definitely not representative of the brand and they did not look or behave professional. They look like they are wearing gym uniforms and the facial hair of one particular female staff member was so distracting I couldn't concentrate on what she was saying. Customer service on the whole island was terrible tho so I'm not classing this as a nikki beach issue. But at £230+ a night, they really should know better!!

Overall, this place seems expensive considering there is no atmosphere here at all and for Thai standards. But the rooms and beach are so gorgeous I would certainly come back if I could convince 20 friends to come there with me!!
