We stayed here as I was getting married in Ko Sumui and all our friends stayed here too. They picked us all up (7 Persons) from the airport and took us to the resort. From the moment we arrived they welcomed us with a drink and a cool towel. They helped us transport our luggage to our villas. Breakfast is included in the price and was so nice to eat. They also do lunch and evening meals too. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. They helped us with booking taxis and day tours. Free Wi-Fi are in all rooms. mini bar and hair dryer. You get 2 free bottles of water each day. The pool is clean and big. We loved the fact that the beach is only a few steps away and the sea is wonderful to swim in.
It is in a quite part of ko sumui which we wanted and if you wanted to go somewhere busy a taxi is so cheap to hire. We also hired a scooter for 10 days and we just explored the whole of the island which is amazing. We would recommend this resort to anyone that wants a relaxing stay, away from the hustle and bustle of a busy town.
Can not wait to visit again!

Room Tip: choose a sea view villa room 101 or 103 which we stayed in. But all villas are great.

My second attempt as tripadvisor "lost" my review plus photos!!
We chose it because of the reviews. And yes it all fitted in very nicely.
We were collected in style by a 4x4 SUV at the airport and taken to the hotel by a very friendly driver who also gave us a brief guide along the way.
Reception formalities over we were shown to our villa or room which was huge with all the facilities in.
I particularly liked the view over the pool and out to the ocean.
Menu is so good that you really do not want to eat elsewhere.
As the resort is a bit out of town there are bicycles (free with a donation) mopeds for hire. Or they can arrange on your behalf a taxi or tuk-tuk to take you where you want to go and collect later. this seems to be the best. No rip-offs like in Bangkok.
Lipa Noi is not far away and quite nice for browsing, thus the resort is peaceful and quiet at night.
And there is a happy hour from 3pm with all sorts of cocktails. I liked the mojito the best.
To get the body into that relaxed feeling ask for a massage at the beach. There is one that is particular good -sorry forgot her name (she is the older one)
One night it rained a bit and suddenly there was these bellows, almost like cows. It is actually the frogs.
From the reception to the the kitchen staff, to the waiters (they are all one big family) were very attentive and extremely helpful and friendly.
Should I go back to Koh Samui this is my choice.
As I am separated from my original fotos I hope the review puts it in the right perspective. Enjoy!!

Room Tip: It is difficuilt. They all seem to be good. Perhaps the ones in the front?

The Villas are huge and clean. You have your privacy and can look into a well maintained garden. Pool is Big, you can actually go for a proper swim. The Beach is not amazing. It serves its purpose. There are some fisherman living right next to the resort. Prices are good- as some other reviews have mentioned it is really quite far away from everything... Excellent Service as usual and Super Cute hotel dog- harmless!

The hotel is a quite oasis on the west shore of Kho Samui. A perfect place to relax and to explore the local life away from the main touristic bustle. Light breeze makes the temperature bearable. The whole property is cared with much love. The hotel provides everything one needs for the holiday (with kids or without): clean sandy beach, shallow at the shore, swimming pool, spacious villas, tasty reach breakfast, and if needed, lunch and dinners. The prices are very reasonable and are lower than in the other more touristic spots. The capital of Samui is 40 min by foot away (shopping, eating). One could also taste the local food at street vendors outside the resort (5-10 min by foot). The ferry is 5 min by taxi/tuk-tuk to the south. The touristic destinations (Fisherman’s village, Chaweng, etc.) are nice but by far not so tranquil. I would definitely recommend the resort for those seeking the calm retreat.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Viva Vacation, and would recommend it highly. We visited in June with our 5 month old and 2 year old, and I thought it was a great place to vacation with kids. Because it is on the quiet side of the island, there isn't much to worry about besides just playing and relaxing.

If you want to be close to night life and  plethora of restaurants, this might not be the place. The songtaw trucks don't come that far, and taxis are expensive (you can rent cars or scooters too). But, the restaurant at the hotel was reasonably priced and quite good. The included breakfast was great too.

We stayed in a sea view villa, and the pool and beach were just steps away. The villa was clean and seemed quite new. The bathroom was huge and had two toilets, a shower and separate huge bathtub. The water pressure wasn't the best, but that was okay. Having the separate living and bedroom was nice with kids.

Our kids had a blast running back and forth between the pool and the beach. The ocean is really shallow there, which was good for young kids. The beach seemed dirtier than other parts of the island (although the staff cleaned it up often... Just lots that washed up).

I also had several massages in the open pavilion right on the beach...fantastic.

The staff is excellent and really was what made us love being there. Not only did they know us all by name and love our kids, but they often played with our kids and helped us with anything we needed. The manager, Chris, is always around and super helpful. He also happens to be a phenomenal photographer, so if you get a chance to hire his services, you won't be disappointed in your portraits!

In short... We loved our stay!
