“Two lovely days in Cambridgeshire”
Reviewed 19 September 2013

Our first experience at the Three Tuns was of a thriving village inn and the two days we spent there reinforced that view.
The bar staff were very efficient, welcoming and thoroughly pleasant.
We had been tempted by the note that Thai food was on offer and it was a surprise to find that "English" food was only served on Sundays. This was not a problem as we stayed on two weekdays and theThai food was first class. Authenticity was heightened by the presence of Thai "cooks" and serving staff. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
The suites were outstanding being of a very high quality as regards the facilities etc.
The village is approximately 12 miles from Cambridge and we took a bus trip there to enjoy the wonderful buildings etc. The stop was only a few yards from the pub.
On our return, being a cricket fan, I was able to enjoy an hour or so watching the village team with a pint of a very delicious locally brewed beer.
TheThre Tuns would be high on my list for a return visit.

Room Tip: There were ten suites available and I believe they were all of similar quality.

Great rooms, excellent restaurant and lovely location. The staff are friendly, the food is lovely (if you like Thai cuisine) and the breakfast is sublime. Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Stayed here whilst we visited Chilford Hall Vineyard and Cambridge. Excellent pick, rooms are new and of very good quality, bathroom especially shower was super, like plenty of room in a shower and these accommodated my need. Fresh milk in a flask given for tea making. The rooms are away from the pub so nothing to disturb you. We had a meal in the pub, this is a Thai restaurant and the main course is of excellent quality cooked by Oi a Thai lady, the tastes and flavors were fabulous. She even paid her customers a visit to ensure you were happy, good customer service in my eyes. The owners were very friendly and looked after us well, breakfast was good, a little too much for us but still enjoyable. If you are visiting the vineyard a taxi can be ordered, but would suggest there is no need as you only taste five wines, not full glasses. We paid a visit into Cambridge and used the bus which stops virtually outside the pub, cost £12 return for two adults. Overall our stay was very welcoming and we would return, no hesitation. Thanks Chris and Karen for a lovely weekend.

I could go on and on about everything, so I'll keep it short.... A very welcoming couple who really make you feel at home, the pub is just brilliant, the rooms are unbelievable, clean modern. Superb.... The food.. Chris & Karen even employ Chefs from Thailand... You cannot get better!!!

After a great nights sleep.on a millbrook bed!!! . we had the full English breakfast... Abfab I couldn't move... However no rush to go...

It was like staying in your best friends house and they could do enough for you...

All in all highly recommended...

We will return.... Thanks for the most wonderful weekend guys....
