I stayed here on 19 July the staff were friendly and helpful. Chris and Karen are fantastic proprietors willing to help with anything you need. The rooms are clean and equipped with all you could need. The food is cooked to order and is very tasty. I would recommend the Three Tuns to anyone and I would stay there again

We stayed at the Three Tuns on the recommendation of Chilford Hall Winery where we were due to attend a wine tasting event.
On arrival Barry, the bar manager, checked us in and confirmed our reservations for the evening meal in a matter of minutes and with no fuss. As we had arrived early we had lunch in the bar while the room was made ready.
When we got to our room it was spotlessly clean, fully air-conditioned with a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage space for a long weekend. The positive comments about the rooms made by other reviewers is all true so I won’t go into any more details, except to say that my wife was overjoyed that the luxury bath towels they provided were large enough to wrap around her properly, not something we have seen of late in other hotels.
The food at the Three Tuns is of the same quality as the accommodation. Although the dinner menu is Thai the amount of spice, and thereby the heat in your dish can easily be adjusted as each dish is individually cooked and the prices of the dishes are not expensive. The most expensive at £14.95 is their sea bass and that is a big fish but very well cooked with a choice of sauces. With a not extensive but adequate wine list dinning at the Three Tuns is a pleasure we hope to repeat sooner rather than later. Breakfasts are also very good, they are a “full English”, but can be adjusted to suit particular tastes and must be booked the day before when the content can be chosen.
Overall we had a very good weekend at the Three Tuns, an experience we hope to repeat sooner rather than later. Our thanks go to Chris, the owner, and his team for our enjoyable weekend, he seems to have got the formula just right, nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure their guests have an enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: Rooms 1 to 5 are quieter as they do not have the office above them.

We stayed overnight as we were visiting Chilford Hall Vineyard the following day. Our room was excellent - very comfortable bed with perfect pillows, stylish decor, brilliant bathroom and shower. We were given a flask of fresh milk on arrival which is a major step up from the silly little longlife pots that you can never open properly. 2 bottles of water and posh biscuits in the room as well! We ate in the restaurant, which is Thai and our meal was gorgeous. My husband is vegetarian and his meal was one of the best veggie meals that he has had in a restaurant. Breakfast was substantial and very good quality - we also got veggies sausages which again is rare. The staff in the pub were very friendly and offered excellent customer service. Top marks for the Three Tuns!

Room Tip: The rooms appear to be equal so nothing to advise

Stayed here for one night as we were visiting Chilford Hall for a wine tasting tour. Very accommodating friendly landlord who organised a taxi for us to get to the vinery, when I booked the room. Excellent room standard, far exceeding a village b&b, spotlessly clean, tea/coffee facilities with fresh milk provided. Excellent shower and products available. Had Thai meal in the pub in the evening and this was superb and very reasonable cost. Would recommend staying and/or eating here.

We stayed here after a visit to the nearby Chilford Hall Winery. Every member of staff that we met were very pleasant, friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure that everything was perfect for our stay, when we arrived at 9:30 in the morning the taxi was waiting to take us to the winery and it was there again at the end of the tour to bring us back all as arranged by the Hotel, all we had to do was relax from the moment we arrived.
The Thai food in the restaurant is excellent but make sure you book a table as it is very popular, the service is also great.
The room was bright and airy, spotlessly clean, well furnished with all the things that you would expect from a much more expensive Hotel, Tea / Coffee, large flat screen TV and air con etc.
If we are ever in this area again we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here last night, the room was lovely. We had booked a vineyard tour and the taxi was running late so one of the staff took us, she was lovely as we're all the staff. We booked a meal in the restaurant the food was lovely and the staff very helpful. Overall a fantastic place to stay and we'll definitely be stopping again!

Room Tip: We stopped in room 5 really nice and quiet.

Set in a lovely Cambridgeshire village, directly opposite the cricket pitch this really is a great place to stay. The pub has a real traditional feel to it including wooden beams and bar. The rooms situated in the back garden area have been built to a very high standard, giving a five star experience. A truely great place to stay!
