We stayed at Eskmeals House with a group of 12 adults and booked Nancy and & Alan for Saturday evening, we were really glad we did.
Menu choices were superb with something for everyone.
They arrived on time with a ' nothing was to much trouble attitude', just what you want after a day entertaining all the children.
The food was incredible, the loin of pork was cooked to perfection succulent, tasty and possibly the best cracking I have ever had !!
If you are in the Lake District and you need outside caterers then do not go anywhere else....
Thx Alan & Nancy !

We first found this tearoom in 2010 whilst camping at the old post office and loved it. We camped at Fisherground this year and travelled to the woodland tearoom each morning for breakfast.......a great start to each day. A wonderful place with friendly staff and delish food. Highly recommended :)

This is one of our local tearooms, and our top favourite. Nancy and her team have an excellent range of teas, nice coffee, wonderful homemade cakes - with plenty of choices for gluten-free - and lunches with local produce. And it has the all-important wheelchair access! Service is friendly and very good, and we've rarely been kept waiting long, in nearly seven years, visiting at least once a week.. There is also outdoor seating, which is wonderful on sunny days!
There is a Craft Shop next door selling an amazing range of clothes, toys, ornaments and gifts for all occasions, but this isn't wheelchair accessible yet.
Parking is limited, but seems adequate enough.

I'm not sure how we fell upon this place nor if I could find it again as it is tucked away on a minor road in a wooded valley but I hope I am able to call again.

The food is excellent, in terms of quality, quantity and value for money and all seems to be either home made or locally sourced.

The service and welcome were perfect.

A real find!
