ably priced. Must mention excellence of breakfast, will not need another meal for a while..

I stayed for just one night and will very likely visit again. The property is lovely and Pierre and Christine are very welcoming and will happily share details on the surrounding area. The rooms are clean and cozy and breakfast is wonderful--you probably won't need lunch!

A lovely, cozy B & B in a nice area. The hosts are genuinely friendly and provide a delicious breakfast. The rooms are not large, but very comfortable even during an unusually hot spell. The porches are lovely places to relax and read.

My partner and I stayed here for one night on a drive around the Eastern Townships. From the moment we met Christine and Pierre, the owners, we felt like welcome friends--not just paying guests. They seemed genuinely interested in chatting to us and sharing stories of other travels. They also directed us to an excellent organic cidery in the area. The house is next door to a good bistro and a more upscale restaurant is around the corner--no car needed once you arrive for the evening!

The house is a lovely lavender gem with a light and airy living room filled with books for guests to use. There's a patio outside with comfortable rockers and couches and a huge garden next to a pretty brook. Our room, l'Oued, was lovely. It was decorated in a Moroccan style, with crafts from the area and several excellent paintings by Pierre.

In the morning they served a delicious breakfast, with mostly local and organic products. We had yogurt parfaits, local apple cider, a lovely quiche, homemade bread with Christine's , almost homemade, jams (which you can take buy in lovely little jars to take home). After all this, we were quite full; but we should have saved room for the pretty waffles with local syrup and fresh fruit that came last!

I would recommend Chant de l'Onde to anyone who travels in the Freligsburg area.

This was a very nice surprise, we had not expected such a well kept, clean and cozy atmosphere. The owners welcomed us and made us feel right at home. Everything is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, original and delicious along with the company we happened upon that morning. A stream off the expansive yard was a delight to behold. We unwound and found a terrific restaurant around the corner at Lyvano's for supper. Our only initial concern was that we had no cellular service in Frelighsburg but they provide free wireless access to help keep in touch with our kids. We happened to be there on a very hot day and without air conditioning we were concerned but the evenings are cool and we slept extremely well. Very good value and would stay there again next time!

Our stay at Au Chand de l'Onde was unplanned - we called from a pay phone to inquire and arrived 20 minutes later. The owners were warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home despite having such short notice of our arrival. The property was very cute and homey. Breakfast was wonderful and we slept soundly despite the unusually hot night (no AC). Would highly recommend!
