My Father, sister & I stayed here for a night as there was nowhere else to stay in Rendham at the time as it was off season.
We were very pleasantly surprised at the size of the rooms, the fact that they had an on suite in one of them & also how comfy the beds were. Mrs Strachan made us feel right at home when we turned up & had no problems about what time we came in at night either which was nice as we had to travel some distance to find a town that we could get a meal in.
The breakfast the next morning was superb & Mrs Strachan made my Father a vegetarian breakfast that he was very happy with.
This place is right out in the middle of nowhere & is very quiet with beautifully clear skies for those who like to stargaze or listen to the night creatures such as owls, foxes & badgers.
The farm also has Shetland ponies & they have won rosettes galore for their cattle & ponies at shows, you can't miss them as there are hundreds pinned to a wall in the hall.
If you want somewhere quiet to stay in Suffolk then this place has rustic charm by the bucketload.
