Good value hotel, location, easy to find with some shops, pubs and places to eat nearby. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Use of the pool and spa area was very good.
Rooms in definite need of a makeover. We booked 1 double and 1 twin room. Double was just two twin beds pushed together.Carpets worn & with stains, there were holes in the carpet in the twin room.General furnishings were old and tired looking and bathroom could do with updating. I've stayed in lots of Village hotels before & this was the worst in terms of the rooms, so we were disappointed in that. However, they were nice and clean and beds comfy. I would stay again, but would upgrade to superior room.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a superior room

Our company recently held a quiz night at the Nottingham Village hotel and we were really pleased with the service that we received, from the booking process to the event itself. All of the staff were very helpful, especially Lue-Anne, the wedding and events co-ordinator.

A great room rate and no corners cut on what was a good experience.

Room clean comfortable and well equipped.

Facilities fantastic for the price. Can't fault it.

Food and breakfast good. Pub quiz in bar was fun.

Good access to buses for easy access to Nottingham centre.

Would come back for sure !

Stayed here as a treat from my boyfriend who'd booked us in for an over night stay, 30 min spa treatment, full use of leisure facilities, a 3 course evening meal and breakfast! All included in the 'Friday Feeling' package. Was impressed with the hotel on arrival easy check in, helpful staff to explain what to do and where to go- also given the free wifi code- bonus! We checked in and went to our room which was on the first floor. Lovely spacious room clean and well presented with a nice bathroom- couldn't ask for anything more in a hotel room. We then went To enjoy the leisure facilities for a few hours before we were booked in for our treatments in the spa. The gym here is huge! Really has full facilities not like some hotels which only have a few machines- this gym is used by locals so is fully equipped, swimming pool was good although it was summer holiday time so there were a lot of children. The jacuzzi and sauna were lovely and allowed us time to relax before our 30 min massage. We both chose massages but there were other options available on this package. Massage was lovely as were the spa staff. We were booked into the verve bar for our food and really enjoyed this. Because we booked under a package we were only entitled to a set menu however this still had lots of choice and didn't disappoint. Food was extremely tasty, good portion sizes and our waitress was very helpful- think her name was Annie- she recommended a few items for us. Couldn't fault the restaurant at all. There's also the victory pub in the hotel (as well as a Starbucks) so we went for a drink in the pub after too. Breakfast the next morning was self serve buffet- with hot and cold options- good choice of hot food- typical full English options but also had fresh fruit, yogurts and pastries. Overall a really enjoyable stay and very good value for money.

We have used village hotels a lot, even using Birmingham 3 days a week for 7 months and many other locations, we were in Sheffield for 2 weeks and decided to go to Nottingham for a weekend break with our 2 sons, the village standard was good, not the best one we have stayed at as it's not a new build like many of them, but food as good as ever and service good, the only fault was not of the hotel but some idiot company behind that was working all night with high pressure water cutting material, go to this hotel but don't get a room facing the rear car park, otherwise will go back.

Stayed here with my daughter while visiting friends. Was in Upper Deck Room which was very nice, very nice bed but why no sockets by the bed!!Bose unit was good and nice range of tea and coffee and some Starbucks things.
We used the swimming pool and that was very clean and had good facilities.
We eat in the bar which I would recommend very good prices for chain hotel and we had drinks on the terrace.Drink prices also good for hotel,
Breakfast we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated but it was not full but very good self service breakfast but good choose of cooked breakfast and cereals fruits and pastries.
This hotel is in the middle of retail park so no nice grounds.
Good value
