“Lovely stay! Well worth the money!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014 via mobile

Stayed here on the 24th august! Well what a lovely hotel even though we arrived and there was a wedding present, reception staff was lovely and explained everything to us thoroughly. Stayed in room 189 and it was more than we expected. Free wifi and sky sports 1,2,3 my boyfriend was landed! Didn't use leisure facilities but from just looking, looked really nice. The verve bar is pretty expensive but there is a pub nearby which is prob cheaper. Overall what a lovely stay for £39 would defo recommend and stay again :)

The staff at this hotel were fantastic. The breakfast staff were so busy as they were lots of guests waiting they never lost it they were so polite especially the young girl forgot her name but her mum works there too and the young man they are a credit to you well done .The lift was broken and it was very difficult for me up the stairs but Lindsey in house keeping helped out .Everyone there was great

Room Tip: Try it busy when kids in pool but a good place for a break

I booked here for my Hen do, which involved a spa day. Simply cannot fault the hotel and the staff were amazing. Ive never come across a more hospitable bunch of people. They really went to town and the whole thing went brilliantly thanks to them.

Noting was too much trouble. Rooms nice and clean. Spa reatments great and the food excellent. Highly recommend a stay here!

Good value hotel, location, easy to find with some shops, pubs and places to eat nearby. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Use of the pool and spa area was very good.
Rooms in definite need of a makeover. We booked 1 double and 1 twin room. Double was just two twin beds pushed together.Carpets worn & with stains, there were holes in the carpet in the twin room.General furnishings were old and tired looking and bathroom could do with updating. I've stayed in lots of Village hotels before & this was the worst in terms of the rooms, so we were disappointed in that. However, they were nice and clean and beds comfy. I would stay again, but would upgrade to superior room.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a superior room

Our company recently held a quiz night at the Nottingham Village hotel and we were really pleased with the service that we received, from the booking process to the event itself. All of the staff were very helpful, especially Lue-Anne, the wedding and events co-ordinator.

Stayed here as a treat from my boyfriend who'd booked us in for an over night stay, 30 min spa treatment, full use of leisure facilities, a 3 course evening meal and breakfast! All included in the 'Friday Feeling' package. Was impressed with the hotel on arrival easy check in, helpful staff to explain what to do and where to go- also given the free wifi code- bonus! We checked in and went to our room which was on the first floor. Lovely spacious room clean and well presented with a nice bathroom- couldn't ask for anything more in a hotel room. We then went To enjoy the leisure facilities for a few hours before we were booked in for our treatments in the spa. The gym here is huge! Really has full facilities not like some hotels which only have a few machines- this gym is used by locals so is fully equipped, swimming pool was good although it was summer holiday time so there were a lot of children. The jacuzzi and sauna were lovely and allowed us time to relax before our 30 min massage. We both chose massages but there were other options available on this package. Massage was lovely as were the spa staff. We were booked into the verve bar for our food and really enjoyed this. Because we booked under a package we were only entitled to a set menu however this still had lots of choice and didn't disappoint. Food was extremely tasty, good portion sizes and our waitress was very helpful- think her name was Annie- she recommended a few items for us. Couldn't fault the restaurant at all. There's also the victory pub in the hotel (as well as a Starbucks) so we went for a drink in the pub after too. Breakfast the next morning was self serve buffet- with hot and cold options- good choice of hot food- typical full English options but also had fresh fruit, yogurts and pastries. Overall a really enjoyable stay and very good value for money.
