We came to this pub initially for a drink & we ended ordering food. I came with my partner & father in law. Have to say our meals ( we all ordered burgers) were nice & cheap & the portion size was good. If I was to grumble, the chips & onion rings could have been warmer but for £5 a meal, I can't really say to much and maybe the decor couls do with updating. All in all everything was nice. Cheap & cheerful meal.

We stumbled upon this place after getting lost on the way to ikea!! I did not have very high expectations when we walked in but we were hungry so thought we would give it a whirl. Its basic inside so I did not imagine the food would be that good, but I was so wrong! We ordered a gammon and chips and a scampi and chips. The food came out quickly and wow was it good, it was obviously freshly cooked, very hot and just what we needed. The gammon was gorgeous, thick and juicy with a lovely runny egg and crispy hot chips. My daughter's scampi was the same, hot, crispy and fresh. Both were cooked to perfection. The meals were two for £8 so were an absolute bargain also. Yummy home cooked food at reasonable prices, what more could you ask ? :-D

Had a family meal here today. Food and drinks good valued.
All meals were cooked well.
Have been on a number of occasions over the last few years. Food can be variable at times. But the last two visits have been very good.

Decently priced good food, sometimes the wait can be a little long, but never waited too long.

Only downside is that Fruitshoots aren't kept in the fridge, they are not nice warm!! My lad wasn't impressed!!
