“Windy, perfect for pictures and stunning sea view and reeze”
Reviewed 28 July 2014 via mobile

Went here to check out what was so good about it and was not dissapointed despite the 2 hour drive.

View here was stunning and place was simply amazing.

The beach was long and white and could be probably one of Sabah's best hidden secrets.

The bad side is however there is nothing much to do other than enjoy the view, the breeeze and the sea.

“Simpang Mangayau (Sunset Music Festival)”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

I enjoyed the trip with my girlfriends and the concert totally blew us up. Only one that turn us out, the road. there are gravel road along the way to Simpang Mengayau and the surrounding too quiet. But in the end, when u arrived at the end point of Simpang Mangayau you will feel like butterflies in your tummy. feels like running to the beach (the beach really looks awesome!! clean and clear) meet you guys again next Concert!!

“The Tip of Borneo”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

Tanjung Simpang Mengayau at Kudat, best known as the Tip of Borneo is an excellent place to visit. This tourist attraction is suitable for all type of people who enjoy an ocean view at the very tip of the land. The evening view of the sky and the widespread shore is simply eye-catching. Tourist may walk up to the tip of the land and further explore the shore by walking around the big rocks that brings you closer to the South China Sea. If you are visiting Sabah, Tanjung Simpang Mengayau should be in your list and rest assured, you will never regret your journey all the way to the Tip of Borneo.

“Best beach in Sabah”
Reviewed 5 March 2014 via mobile

This beach is amazing!! It beats any other we went to (Semporna, Sandakan, Kota Kinabalu etc) so if you are loking for long relaxing days of sun, sand and surf then this is the beach for you!

We stayed at Tommy's Place and loved it. It is right on the beach!

Tip top (Howard's) is also doing a lot to clean up the beach and turtle conservation, check out their restaurant on the beach for loads of information about their community.

Tip: Due to drift wood that washes up, there are lots of sandflies (bite like mosquitos!) but suncream and insect repellant sends to help. If bad, just jump into the turquoise ocean and float in the gentle waves awhile to forget about reality.

“breathtaking scene”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

the view was fascinating. The beach is blue and clean. However, the wave may too strong to be swimming over there. Every year there is a musical festival at the end of june.
Suggest to go there during the musical festival.
