What a place. Quiet, beautiful, with fabulous hosts. The bird life was gorgeous and we caught plenty of fish in the dam. Plenty to see in the area and it was hard to leave and come home. Ken and Carol are great hosts and just really nice people to boot. They cook wonderful food and cater to every whim of their guests. If you are looking for somewhere to go where you feel really special, this is it.

We were delighted by Amamoor Homestead; Carole and Ken were perfect B&B hosts and made us feel so welcome. The location is beautiful, birds plentiful, food delicious and surrounding countryside well worth a visit. We would definitely go back when next in that area.
Try the Par 3 golf a short distance away if you have the chance; great fun and very challenging!

As my parents live on the Gold Coast I always make a trip to stay at the Sunshine Coast whenever I visit. I discovered The Homestead through a wotif email after surfing through copious Trip Advisor reviewsfor other places and just not quite being happy with them I discovered Carol and Ken's little piece of paradise. The reviews were so correct. Carol always responded to my emails promptly and professionally and looked after my cousin and I superbly, and Ken with the great sense of humour was there to assist too. The meal was superb and we were offered extras such as wine and cheese but we were watching our wastlines so declined. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. Fishing in the pond was fun (if not HOT) so I suggest you do that very early in the morning. We enjoyed a little day trip to neighbouring places a short drive away in the car and settled in to watch DVD's when we had worn ourselves out each day. Thoroughly recommended little gem, with easy, close access to the Bruce Highway which means you could go off to other spots like Maroochydoore etc during the day and come back to the tranquility in the afternoon. Thanks Carol and Ken.

Room Tip: The cottages are all spread out to give you maximum privacy from each other so they are all great

Spectacular views. Beautiful peace. Cosy cottages. Visited for a night and I had difficulty dragging myself away. Such a perfect place for a city escape. It was fun to feed the fish. Walk the 'hill'. And so exciting to be apart of viewing the first ever koala at Amamoor Homstead. I'll be back.... And soon, for 2 or 3 nights!

We enjoyed two nights with friends - dining each night in the homestead - fresh local produce featured - our meals were fantastic - did our own breakfasts on the barbie - hosts were exceptional - we will visit again - you don't need all the bells whistles and glitz - you get the best without all the bull and expense

Room Tip: All cabins are great - especially at night with a clear sky and a great fire - don't forget the...

My partner and I had a fantastic time and the hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. It was a great weekend away and just what we needed. It gave us time away together where we could share everything in a peaceful and serene environment. We went for a bike, went fishing, had a fire and did things that we could only ever dream of doing at our home.

We spent four nights on this beautiful property with our two young children who had a ball. There was so much for the kids to do - fishing in the dam, going out in the boat, climbing the big hill, collecting firewood, roasting marshmallows and just playing in the dirt. The cottages were lovely, and our own bbq and fire area was fantastic. We all had a great time and would highly recommend your property to friends and family. Hopefully we will be back soon & the Mary Valley Rattler will be running this time. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. Simon, Simone, Jake & Mia
