We stayed here for a night to break our journey up on the way to St Ives with our two children. Hillview is set in a quiet country side location.
The standard of the accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable with all the little things having been thought of by the owners. Breakfast was delicious, my husband and son had full English breakfast which was made with good quality locally sourced ingredients. They cater very well for different dietary requirements and provided myself with a vegetarian breakfast and even soya milk!

Many thanks for a nice stay :-)

We were greeted with cake and tea, coffee and hot chocolates for the girls when we arrived. Over filling out the booking form we discussed where we would like to eat that evening and Mike kindly booked a table for us nearby. It was spotless and we were given lots of choice about breakfast. Di was very helpful about interesting places to visit on our way to Devon. WE would definately recommend it for a stay.

This was the second visit to this bed and breakfast after the wonderful hospitality shown by Mike and Di on our previous visit in 2012.
The only improvement on last year was simply the beautiful weather that we enjoyed throughout our stay.
We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast for the cleanliness, friendliness and the very high standard of the breakfasts.
We are looking forward to returning for a third time as soon as we can.

Room Tip: Wonderful country rooms from all around the house.

My boyfriend booked Hillview for my birthday treat. It was brilliant! Food, location, comfort and hospitality was second to none. If you are looking for somewhere quiet, relaxed and welcoming in Somerset then this is the place....and yes, the breakfast is amazing and locally sourced!

Stayed one night over the weekend just gone with a toddler!!!

Superb setting and the owners were delightful, and extremely friendly to our young daughter.. took her to see the bull/cows and around the garden too.. very sweet.

Rooms very comfortable and slept extremely well. Good size family room and large separate bathroom with bath/shower.

Breakfast was delicious and good variety on offer too.
Well located with good local pubs in local village

would recommend.
