Thanks Poplar Farm were a splendid start on our holiday. The welcome, the room and the breakfast were super! It was everything we wanted and it looked like a something's from a Jane Austen. I can really recommend this B&B. At last, Ruby were the sweetest dog!

Found this whilst returning from Dorset back up North, and decided to stay another 2 days in Somerset. We came across this whilst searching the internet and we couldn't have found a better place. Maureen was a brilliant host and breakfast was delicious on both mornings. We had a lovely family room and a very comfortable bed. Our Scottish Terrier enjoyed his stay as much as we did. Plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area. Would certainly return if we are in Somerset again.

We are regular visitors at Poplar Farm, it is so nice and relaxing. The host is first class, friendly and a pleasurebto stay with. We have stayed in the chalet and one of the rooms and both were lovely. Great breakfast and surrounding area. Cannot reccommend it highly enough.

Room tip: Beautiful working farm with exceptional service

Lovely people - Including their close neighbours whom we had a great chat with

Excellent location - this area is just full of spectacular scenery and of course the caves at Cheddar

Perfect room - comfy beds, good size bathroom and well appointed

Extremely clean - all areas

First class breakfast - much better than any hotel fare

Friendly dog - out son had much fun throwing sticks for him to fetch

We will be back - its a great position for us to break a journey to Cornwall :-)

Room tip: The family room is large and well appointed
