“Traditional Pizza and Great Service”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

It's a quirky little venue with a recycled theme, but in a good way! Set in an old building with the entrance round the back, the high wooden ceiling means there is a hum of atmosphere without it being noisy and the kitchen in the corner means you can see the food being prepared.

The friendly staff were really apologetic about us having to wait because we had come in after a big table, they even gave us some free nibbles! We hadn't pre-booked and the wait was still less then an hour (I've waited longer than this before at other places and not even been told there was a wait) it wasn't a problem as the starters came out very quickly so we weren't sitting there hungry.

The menu is quite small but they are happy to mix and match toppings, the pizzas are traditional style with thin bases and very tasty. Highly recommended.

“Take away........brilliant”
Reviewed 27 June 2013 via mobile

Brown paper has gone through some changes and they are for the better, just picked up a quick take out and the pizza was lovely. Loaded with topping, great base and very tasty.
Thanks, look forward to checking more out off the rest of the new menu.

“Great food”
Reviewed 16 April 2013

not a huge menu but what they do they do really well, child friendly with 'pocket money' pizzas - a lovely touch. Well thought out décor and space - would recommend.

“Laid back, relaxed bistro”
Reviewed 30 March 2013

BPP is a very welcome addition to Wedmore which has suffered from a lack of reasonably, priced, non-poncy, food. BPP has a limited menu but I prefer that as it means everything is fresh. Good pizza's and excellent chocolate cake. Wine was reasonable. Service needs to retain its laid back charm but be a little more professional and have more personality.

“Brilliantly Sustainable”
Reviewed 15 February 2013

Wonderful atmosphere to BPP in George Inn Wedmore; all furnishings either bought on e-bay or auctions, freecycled, begged, borrowed or - no surely not! Service a little slow but full house; meatfest pizza delicious and 12 hour cooked belly pork with lentils v tasty; delish pink Italian wine. Best of all, owned by Arthur Potts Dawson who is probably the most energetically environmentally-responsible chef in the country.
