This house was a wonderful catch. Its old and creaky, but its full of character and individuality.
The house is very very well equipped and spacious. Its location is perfect.
We visited Wells, Glastonbury, Burnham and Weston, all with minutes drive.
Three fairly local pus and restaurants, two 3 miles away and one just a mile.
Several working farms in walking distance, great for the grandchildren to watch the cows being taken for milking.
The owners were so good - fantastic communication, flexible and continuously checking we had everything we needed. First class I would say !
8 of us stayed there. Plenty of room. If you are after simple, quaint and homely, this is the place for you !
Very highly recommended.

“A little piece of Heaven”

Our weekend in May at your farmhouse was a Christmas present to all the folks who travelled with us. I can only say categorically that it was one of the nicest presents I've either given or received. It was really a trip into the agricultural past as the house and surroundings presented all those things we associate with a centuries old farmhouse. The house was spacious, comfortable, homey (the fireplaces and the available wood was a real bonus). The children made friends wit h the cows in the pasture and we spent literally hours feeding them and watching their reactions. We visited the nearby attractions which are all very close by, spent long pleasant days out and then returned to a warm evening of games and relaxation. It was hard to leave!

“Idyllic farmhouse holiday - we didn't want to leave!”

It's difficult to praise this farm house and its location too highly. The views over the Somerset levels to the Tor, the gardens and their wildlife, the homely, quirky, characterful quality of the farm house, the helpful, considerate and prompt responses and help from the owners, superb cider from the farm, a family BBQ on a warm June evening - everything fell into place for the most relaxing holiday we've had in years. This is a gem of a place, and we're grateful to have found our way there. Very highly recommended.

Our large family group found this property ideal; 6 adults, 3 children & 2 dogs had plenty of space to eat, play & enjoy the peaceful & beautiful location.
The property is full of character, spotlessly clean, & was equipped for our needs.
The owners were very helpful & left lots of clear & concise information from how to operate equipment to a map of the area.
All members of the party thoroughly enjoyed their stay & would be happy to return another day.

“Adventure in Somerset”
Reviewed 1 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We recently had a family holiday at westham farmhouse and had a fabulous time at this property, there were 8 in our party which included myself and my Wife and our Daughter and her family. The Farmhouse had everything we could have wanted, plenty of room and really interesting history, like stepping back in time. All the rooms were clean and tidy with everything catered for. The gardens were beautiful with large lawns and mature trees, the view from the gardens were lovely extensive landscape of Somerset meadows and also able to see Glastonbury Tor. We had everything at the Farmhouse we could have wanted, only the weather was not kind to us, but that didnt spoil our holiday.

“Wonderful for Family Break”
Reviewed 21 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We had a wonderful short holiday here with our children and their grandparents. The cottage and garden had so much space for us all to relax, read and chat and we quickly felt very much at home. Everything was clean and tidy, facilities were good and the house has a really lovely welcoming feel to it.

The local area has a good range of places to visit for outings, and the local pub provided a good meal. We were lucky enough to enjoy fine weather for a BBQ in the lovely garden too.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, and this was one of the few places which were willing to accommodate a short break during the summer holidays - I'm really glad they did!

I would highly recommend this cottage to groups of friends or large family groups looking for a few nights away together.

“Peace, wonderful views and lots of history”
Reviewed 9 November 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed here with children and grandparents and dogs. We loved the house - it must be very old and had lots of original features. The garden was lovely and perfect for the kids. It was such a peaceful place and the views across the Levels were amazing. The children loved the fact that we were next to a real farm. We had some fun days out...Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge. We even tried the local cider. We're glad we chose it.
