Our experience at BodyHoliday was everything we could have wanted.
The room:
We had an Oceanfront Luxury Jr Suite. Great size, clean, nicely decorated, nice bathroom.
The only suggestion to make it better would be to stock the fridge with more than a bottle of water. Given that the bar and restaurants aren't close to the premium rooms, it would have been nice to have a small selection of drinks in the room.
The restaurants:
I can't say enough about them. The 3 restaurants were all excellent. While the resort is known for TAO, the new Windows restaurant was making some of the best food I've ever had. We didn't have a bad meal all week. Even the buffet breakfast and lunches were great.
The spa:
As many reviewers have commented, the rooms aren't fancy, but who cares. Most of the time, you're lying face down on a table or face up with something over your eyes.
The staff were excellent and the treatments were very good. We used both the inclusive treatments, and paid for additional items.
I have to give points to the staff here. There was a mixup in the booking for one of my wife's additional treatments. When she arrived she was told the massage therapist was busy with another patient, so my wife would have to wait. Disappointed, my wife left and we went to the lounge. When she arrived she was told the massage therapist was busy with another patient, so my wife would have to wait. Disappointed, my wife left and we went to the lounge. The girl who originally booked the appointment for my wife heard what happened and about 15 minutes later, came and found us in the lounge. She had arranged for my wife to have a 30 minute bamboo massage at no charge. She also booked my wife for her original treatment at 1/2 price. Mistakes happen, and it's how you deal with it. In this case, the girl went above and beyond to fix what they clearly acknowledged was their mistake.
The beach:
The beach is a great size for this resort. It's never too busy, there are always chairs available, and there are tons of water activities that you can do. We rarely saw a swimming pool as we were much happier at the beach...until the last day.
Something that you should be aware of if you wish to visit St. Lucia is that all beaches are public. The resorts don't "own" the beach or waterfront. On our last day, a couple guys jumped out of a small boat and started snorkelling along the edge of the designated swimming area. The boat went to the shore outside the swimming area...no problem so far. Then, the snorkelers yelled to the guys in the boat, and they took off and started dropping a fishing a net in the...More
