The home made pies were brilliant. Tons of filling, tons of flavour. The apples and fresh figs were delicious and reasonably priced

Do yourself a favour - do not buy any mass-produced pies in South Africa (sadly I can't mention names). Buy a Peregrine pie. No "filler" added, just generous quantities of filling and a lovely crust. Very highly recommended. Lots of other quality fare on offer too.

I was early for a meeting so stopped in for coffee and breakfast. Service was great, prices reasonable and I have been back twice and have experienced great service each time I visit. There is also a farm stall where you can purchase local preserves, bread, pies, etc.

Great food, nice variety in farm stall and gift shop on premises is GREAT!! Play area for kids, and four legged friends also has a "rest room". Definitely a must when you pass on the N2

With its wonderful location right along the N2, the Peregrine serves as a must stop for a filling meal or deliciously sweet dessert; serving the best Malva pudding in the Western Cape. Enjoy a cup of coffee while the kids play on the jungle gym or take a tour of the locally made baked goods and fresh fruit and veggies in the shop.
