“A rustic country retreat with a little slice of heaven”

Wow, where to start! Aside from the welcoming and knowledgeable hosts both Lousie and Ruud, Louise's mouth-watering authentic Italian cooking, the homely, rustic, yet luxurious bedrooms, kitchen, living room and outdoor seating areas (all of which renovated by Louise and Ruud themselves! Before and after pictures are a must see!) The surrounding tiny villages, the quaint Italian food markets, cafes and restaurants, the deserted hiking / cycling routes, truly I could go on. The main attraction of this beautiful B&B, was the little slice of heaven I refer to in my title, which can be found as part of the back garden. If you haven't seen the snaps already, I'm referring to the miles and miles of rolling Italian hills. I'm yet to find a picture that can capture the overwhelming beauty of this view. The beautiful sounds of soft winds amongst the valleys and the mountains, the way in which the sun hits the landscape; every moment looking out into this view offers you a new picturesque perspective, you'll find yourself spending hours simply looking out, and exploring the surrounding views, coming away with a sense of calmness. This B&B truly feels like a hidden gem. If you're in need of a timeout, some real authentic Italian food, some peace and quiet with a tranquil, majestic and rejuvenating view - this really is the place to visit! Enjoy!

“Nice B&B, fabulous location”
Reviewed 28 March 2016 for a stay in May 2015

The B&B is situated in a very nice, quiet, area. The view from the terrace is overwhelming.
De interior is very warmly and tasteful decorated. The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. The hospitality of the host and hostess made our stay unforgetable.
They do a lot to feel you comfortable. Louise is a great cook. She can tell many stories about the environment and the history. The weather was the first week of may very nice. In the neighbourhood are nice small villages to visit by car. We also went to a very nice beach, driving about 45 minutes.

“Stunning views, outstanding boutique accommodation, great food, charming hosts.”
Reviewed 2 March 2016 for a stay in May 2015

We have stayed at this fabulous place on several occasions and wanted to keep it a secret but have reluctantly decided to share! First the location - set amidst stunning rolling countryside, that seems to change by the hour...you never get tired of looking at it! The refurbished accommodation is very tastefully appointed, chic with a relaxed feel. The outside space is beautiful and great to relax. The breakfasts and dinners are to die for! Everything was homemade and so tasty!! The hosts couldn't be more helpful. We hired bikes (arranged by our hostess) and rode the 'white' roads which is a great way to explore the area - although not for the faint-hearted as nothing is flat! The hiking is also great and there are many interesting places to visit with just a short drive out. The roads are not busy, it is a very easy and relaxing place to hoilday. We will definitely being going back!

“Fabulous Accommodation in Beautiful Location”
Reviewed 27 February 2016 for a stay in August 2015

We had a lovely week last summer at the Casale Margherita. Located in the hills above Pergola, this B&B offers breath-taking views across valleys and mountains. The room was of a high standard with a large comfy double bed and on suite facilities. Breakfast was plentiful and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Ruud and Louise. We found it convenient to have our evening meal at the Casale Margherita - the food was excellent and the setting was magical. Overall, it was a great place to unwind and relax after a hard days sightseeing!
