We rented this chalet for a long weekend - two families with five kids under five years old. In February it was a winter wonderland of deep snow; a great spot nestled among steep mountains. It's practically the last chalet on the road so good for hikes and sledging straight out of the front door, which was ideal with our young crowd. Nearby Abondance is very pretty with an excellent butcher for cooking up feasts in the well equipped kitchen. The chalet is full of rustic charm with a cosy wood-burning stove and very handy and reliable WIFI. The owner was super-helpful and even met us in Abondance to guide us to the chalet and help us get installed. We were there in winter but we hope to return in the summer when we expect it will offer an equally fun but different kind of break.
