“A wonderful experience”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

My husband and I stayed here for one night in the River Room. We could not have been happier with the accommodation or the service we received. Arriving on a wet and cold winters night we were invited in to a cosy warm room and made to feel instantly welcome. The house and its contents are fascinating and with the wonderful addition of Martin's stunning scupltures, it adds interest to an already fascinating place. The bed was very comfortable and all linen and towels were fresh and clean. The ensuite bathroom was extremely clean. The atmosphere created by not just the physical aspects of the home and grounds, but also the hosts is hard to beat.

Room Tip: River room was perfect!

We stayed one night at Earlsferry for a birthday getaway in the Swan Valley area. Jane and Martin were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Verandah room which was spacious and the ensuite bathroom was modern and very clean. The room looked like maybe the smallest of them all but was still really roomy and had everything you need - iron & board, wardrobe, tv and dvd player and direct access to the verandah from a quaint little sliding door/window. There are some nice touches in the house referencing its history which is really fascinating. I would definitely recommend this place for a weekend away!

We stayed at Earlsferry for one night in mid December 2013, after a day touring the Swan Valley and Guildford. We were stunned by this amazing property with so much interesting history and beautiful kept by Jane and Martin, our hosts. They were very friendly and helpful and we particularly enjoyed Martin's incredible metal art....out of this world! We would recommend Earlsferry as a home from home when travelling in the Perth area.

We stayed in the 'river room' for 3 nights at this beautiful home on the banks of the Swan River. The room was very spacious and led onto the balcony with views over the lovely garden and river. The house is close to the Swan Valley wineries and Perth hills which were blessed with a vast array of wildflowers while we were there. Martin and Jane are friendly and relaxed hosts who have created a wonderful atmosphere for guests.

We have stayed here three times now. A lovely place full of old world charm. Antiques everywhere. The hosts Jane and Martin, are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help. Good location close to the Swan Valley and the airports.

Room Tip: River room upstairs is our pick. Lots of interesting shops just across the bridge. Especially if you...

We stayed one night in the very spacious Billiard room, which has a modern ensuite attached. The house is gorgeous and the garden is filled with delightful sculptures. It has views over the Swan River and the railway line. Despite also being near quite a big road we didn't notice the noise. The owners were lovely and gave the girls some fish food in the morning to feed the fat red goldfish. Breakfast was tasty and generous, with the kids giving Jane's porridge a double thumbs up. Earlsferry is handy to the airport, and far nicer than any dodgy airport motel! Highly recommended.

My partner and I stayed for 1 night. It was very unique in it's own way. Antiques and artifacts everywhere! The mansion is very beautiful inside and outside. Would stay there again. It was a wonderful experience like your thown from the past. We love it!
