We stayed for 3 days in Puri Wulandari.
We loved our room v much, v spacious & relaxing, with a great view overlooking the jungle & cliff. Really2 breathtaking view!
We've been at many hotels and resorts, but the room here was definitely the biggest of all!
The staff was v nice and helpful. Naturally friendly..
We had an amazing experience there. If u love a 'back to nature' exp,u will love the atmosphere. We saw a monkey walking near our room!
The breakfast was good & the pastry was excellent!
No doubt, we have fallen in love with this hotel. We'll come back again next time for sure!

I am staying in this resort, the second night out of thy three days holiday: the air con is not working properly for the first day and the wind is very weak. Today the air con is totally out of order. Called a few times for fixation but only the air con is blowing out very weak air only. be frank, the villa is not too hot, but i can not say comfortable with the temperature. frustrated and my Christmas screwed. will post another review after i complete my stay, if i can bear the heat.

It has been a week that I left a farewell to the hotel staff after spending the best 15 days of my life. I actually visited the city to spend my honeymoon period. Initially I was not willing to go on a honeymoon trip but then on the insistence of my wife I showed some willingness and then we went off without looking back.

The team at Puri Wulandari was amazing. They were always ready to serve us with a smile.

The pros of this place would be that the villa is simply amazing. We paid slightly more than $300 USD per night. It was spacious, the view was breathtaking, and the toilet was as huge as the bedroom. The villas were tastefully and luxuriously decorated in Balinese style. The infinity pool facing the rainforest was as breathtaking as the pictures. The staff made us feel at home and I was always looking forward to go back to our villa after a long day.

The cons would be that because this villa offers an experience of living close to nature, there tend to be bugs around. We did not encounter many mosquitoes, and that could be due to the insect repellent they placed in our room. However, be prepared to get close to frogs and other insects. We even spotted a few fireflies during our stay. The airconditioning in the room was also not very strong and it took a long time to cool the room down. That could be due to the fact that the room is fairly large with high ceilings. Also, in general, it is difficult to get around and we ended up dining in the resort most of our stay, which was quite expensive. The food was just average but the price was pretty steep.

In conclusion, this place should not be missed if you are planning to stay in Ubud for a couple of days and would like a change from the city life or the tourist scene. The climate is way cooler here than in Seminyak or Nusa Dua and it is definitely quieter as well.

Spacious villa property with outdoor living room and outdoor pool facing the rain forest. Spectacular view from the bedroom. Wonderful bath tub and outdoor shower. Two -sink bathroom with separate enclosed shower room and toilet room. Separate walk -in closet. Amazing sanctuary. Clean and traditional. The villa is not new, so here and there you see wear and tear. The sofa outdoor smelled like urine. We had a resident frog that occasionally jumped on our lap while we were enjoying the view. The stream/pond was green with algae and the corner floor cushion by the pool was dirty. To go to or from villa to breakfastbreakfast hut or lobby the staff will take you in a golf cart. Breakfast a la carte is included $5 extra to have it brought to your villa. Western and Indonesian selection. Great service and beautiful view. Interesting activities like morning walk along rice paddies fields, river rafting, monkey forest temple, Tampaksiring and of course ubud central shopping. Massage spas everywhere. Much cheaper than at villa. Villa is very far from airport. 1 hr if no traffic, 2 hrs with traffic. So plan ahead. Same with taking shuttle to ubud central. Take villa phone with you or tell lobby staff which shuttle pick up time you want. Our first day, the shuttle was not at scheduled pick up time. We had to inquire and wait 45 min
