We arrived to b greeted by very friendly and attentive staff.we sat outside as it was a lovely day, the surroundings were beautiful. When the food arrived although it looked stunning it didn't look enough, but we were soon proved wrong as we could not finish so staff boxed it up for us.overall a fantastic day and would definitely come again

Thank Debbie S

We visited on Saturday for afternoon tea to celebrate my 40th birthday.

What a fabulous afternoon, it was really nice to spend time with my friends in such a beautiful location.

Staff were so attentive, i loved every minute and wanted to do it again on Sunday.

Our party of four had dinner in the Orangery as a special celebratory treat. We chose the signature menu with wine pairing at £140 per head. The meal (tasters of several different dishes) was delicious and beautifully presented. The wine choices were described in the menu and were appropriate to the food but the amount served could only be described as a taster as we were served barely 100ml in our glasses. The bottles were not shown to us and the wine was not poured at the table - possibly because we may have asked for a little more of our favourites! The amount charged for the wine tasters was £55 per head - water not included. If anyone is thinking of trying this dining experience I would recommend the Signature menu at £85 per head but order your wine separately as the additional cost of wine pairing does not represent good value.

We went for the signature menu and included wine pairing for an extra £55 per head. Not cheap by any means. The food and service were really very good, but the wine was shocking value. One wine per course, which was fine, but tiny little glasses of no more than 75ml per glass. We didn't see the bottles either, so goodness knows what happened to the rest. With dinner for 4 costing £600, being mean with the wine was just unnecessary penny pinching.

Stayed at the hotel as a treat due to the price. Thought we would treat ourselves to dinner in the orangery. Very pricy but you pay for what you get. Best meal I've ever had. Scallops for starter with chateaubriand for main. I was to full to try dessert but they looked amazing. Service was brilliant nothing seems a problem for them. A must for any one in the area
