On the recommendation of our B & B hostess we visited The Vines. I made the mistake of not ordering the soup; my husband ordered the vegetable " broth" and it was nice and thick and creamy. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day. The Vines offers an Early Bird special so on our second visit I ordered the potato/leek soup and it was delicious! My husband ordered the sweet chili Pitta. Equally delicious! But the " piece de resistance" was the sticky toffee pudding! Indescribably delicious. The food was hot, quick, delicious and the staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. This us a must visit.

We were just passing this restaurant when we saw the sign for a carvery so we decided to stop.
This must have been about 2.30pm on Sunday and there was just one other family in. We were served by a lovely wee girl and the chef came to serve us our meal from the carvery. EXCELLENT FOOD QUALITY. The meal was lovely, the meat was done to perfection and the rest of the side orders were mouth watering. The dessert was even better, usually after a meal I couldn't eat all my dessert but this was so nice I could have had seconds of it - would definitely go back again.

The staff were all lovely and really helpful. Well done. Restaurant was very clean and tidy.

highly RECOMMEND a visit.

Booked for a party of ten, the staff including Brenda and Albie were very friendly and attentive all evening, made us feel very welcome. The service was excellent and the menu catered to everyone's various tastes. Food was served promptly and was lovely. Fast becoming our favourite resturant for an all round experience!
