We have stayed in some terrible hotels, blood stains on pillows, people smoking pot in the corridors and sharing with refugees but this is definitely the worse. Apart from the pleasant guy on reception this is a hotel you are glad to wake up early and get away from. Rooms are falling apart and dirty. Sheets were ok but everything else best not to touch. Really run down. It's cheap but not cheap enough. TV didn't work and shower was either ice cold or burning (literally) hot, you had about 5 seconds between these two settings.

We stayed there last night and after reading the reviews on here they are all right, my room was a single room which ment me shareing the bathroom and toilet, the toilet was blocked because the flusher was broken, my room smelt so bad of damp i had to go and buy some airfresherer, we were given a master key for the room so anyone else with a master key could get in, broken locks, muldy net curtains, wonky bed (headboard not attached) t.v in room did'nt work, radiator did'nt work which ment it was really cold at night, this hotel is one of them places you only go to once, never again, be warned.

Room Tip: we had 4 rooms in all and none of them were nice.

On arrival the hotel looked ok, a little untidy outside but plenty of staff on reception. After that it was down hill fast! we were told our superior room was through the bar, up some very small stairs and through some very small doors. When we saw our room it was shabby and dirty and the window blind was on the floor. The bathroom was large but the flooring was ripped and again the place was dirty. We asked to be moved to a larger room and got a room with a four poster bed in it. The size was good but we have never seen dirt like it! the net curtains at the window were held together with muck, the bathroom had dirt everywhere skirting boards, bath etc when you tried to use the shower it fell to bits in your hand.We did not have many choices so had to make the most of it as we had paid upfront for 5 days although we gave up after the fourth day and left. Very uncomfortable going through a sometimes busy bar to access your room. Lots of people lazing around on stairwells smoking etc. Felt that there were a lot of young people living at the hotel via dss etc.

Room Tip: Dont stay in any!

The rooms were not clean. One of the rooms were not were in terrible condition. Heater was not working, there was not hot water available in the bathroom. Reception guy assured us to fix this we waited till 11.30PM and at late night he told us to shift to another hotel which we could not agree to as we we with our baby. He promised a refund and the next day he just disappeared. The lady at the reception told us next day, that any refund was not possible, was very rude and refused to accept any responsibility on the terrible service. We have even shown the room condition to her but she was still adamant that everything was in order.

Well the rooms are disgusting and if that's not enough the staff of the establishment are controlled by the local users of the bar! I was knocked out by one of them! After I bought him a drink!!! And he couldn't look me in the face before doing so! Never met any one so yellow before that night! Oh and the police station opposite the hotel shuts at 7!!! JUST DONT GO HERE! Even of your homeless it's the lowest of the low. Staff wouldn't spit on you if you were on fire

Pictures are about 10 years out of date. It is dirty, not maintained at all. Was not expecting much for the price, but did expect curtains over the windows, and a clean room. We complained so they gave us an upgrade. So we had curtains, but more mould in the bathroom, and a shower that sprayed water in the direction of the light fitting before dribbling down. Holes in the wall, and lose electrical sockets. Not all lights actually had bulbs in them.
