Tried to book in a spa day, and the people at Bannatyne booked it in for the wrong day, didn't send the confirmation as they took the wrong email address, and had the wrong spelling of the name. When I called to complain they said they'd make sure they sorted it out and booked me in, but they didn't and just said they would give me a refund. The confirmation of the refund email never came through (after telling them again my email address). I complained again a different way, they said they'd get back to me in 24 hours, 7 days later they finally get back with a lame apology. Awful service all round with a lot of chasing from me for their mistakes.

Bannatyne Spa Orpington
Had a spa day which included back massage and facial with a friend. The staff were very polite and helpful and no complaints about the massage and facial. Agree with previous comments regarding the service in the restaurant. The young girl was very helpful and polite, but rushed off her feet doing everything, including preparing food, making drinks, taking payment and clearing tables. We felt quite sorry for her.
The venue is a bit tired in places but overall we enjoyed the experience. Having been to other spas, this is the first time I have been asked to pay for the use of a robe, slippers and towel. These are always provided free elsewhere.

I was very impressed with my skin lab treatment by Rea today it opened my eyes to what condition my skin is in. Rea was very knowledgeable and helped me to purchase the correct products for me.

I brought my mum here for mothers day and having read previous reviews we were feeling rather mixed about coming here, as many people said it was run down. The building from the outside doesn't look great but the inside is the complete opposite. The spa area is flawless, the relaxation room was incredible we spent hours inside there. The music was so therapeutic. We each had a facial and Swedish back massage both which were wonderful and in the same room, the ladies doing them made us feel very comfortable. We had access to the spa and health club facilities for the remainder of the day. The Jacuzzi and pool area was great and well cleaned, the gym is scattered about a bit but still great! The only issue we had was the café, the girl working there had been left by herself and there was no chef and therefore we had a limited choice of food, an issue more for my mum than for me, it was just a shame about the food! Great service and staff none the less, everybody was very friendly and made us feel welcome there.

Arrived at the health club for a spa day. Usually I visit the Chafford Hundred Club but decided to try Orpington as it's closer to home. We changed into our swim wear ready to enjoy aqua gym. We were a few minutes late so the instructor informed us it had already started and that we could not join in apparently the class was full. Looking at the pool there was plenty of room for two more. I never had this experience at the other Bannatyne and we were banished from the pool. We found this very embarrassing. We had to wait three quarters of an hour until we could swim. The steam room was also broken so everyone was jammed into the Sauna or outside Jacuzzi while we waited for the class to finish.
We went to lunch to be told that the only choise was paninis or sandwiches as the chef was off.
This was a treat for my Sister in Law and sadly it didn't make the experience very pleasant.
The Massage and facial was excellent and the two girls were very professional.
I can not recommend this as the little Hitler who took the aqua gym class spoilt the whole experience
