We went on a a Saturday night and had the tasting menu with matching wines. Service and food was all first rate. A couple of niggles that prevented me awarding 5 stars:
- we asked for tap water but rather than leaving a jug they just provided two glasses. My partner had to ask five times for her glass to be replenished. Why not just leave us a jug?
- tables for two are quite close together

Very impressed with our dinner last nite. We tried to book for 8-00, but informed couldn't do until nearly 9-00, so decided to leave it, bur within a few minutes they came back to us offering the earlier time.

Service was attentive, but not intrusive and informative when asked. I suspected this might be small tasty dishes, but portions were generous and lots of unusual dishes. I had a rabbit starter which was divine, followed by a goat curry which was also very good. Some brave souls in our party of six made room for desserts as well, but I was stuffed and finished with espresso.

I had heard this place was expensive, but with drinks including 2 carafes of wine and for most of the party three courses it came to £41/head including service, which when considering Atul Kochhar is a Michellin star chef, I'd say was good value.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Disappointed that there was no bitter served on the drinks menu. House Hungarian wine was OK. Found the pappadoms were wierd - they were small and just like pappadom crisps. Not the tasty large ones we normally have in an Indian restaurant. Wouldn't have them again. Service was good. Being a Saturday night the place was heaving and very noisy........ perhaps next time will go mid week. Very close to Petts Wood station so we didn't even have to drive.

Our family celebrated a birthday at this delightful restaurant this week and were treated to a wonderful fusion of flavours and culinary excellence. There is a fixed price menu on offer which was more than comprehensive for our party. We did however opt to include an additional starter (the soft shell crab) which were all very tasty. The mixed grill main dish was a feast and those who fell short of finishing the meal during the evening had the pleasure of taking the remainder home to enjoy the next day. The staff were informative, attentive but not overbearing. The ambience is reminiscent of a high end London restaurant but without the hassle of travelling too far. Certainly worth a visit for those who enjoy Indian cuisine on a special occasion.

My wife and I have just enjoyed a most wonderful Sunday lunch here. They are doing a fixed price lunch on a Sunday - £15.95 for 2 courses, £19.95 for 3 courses. We opted for 3 courses. Service was as perfect as you could wish for and all of the food was outstanding. It is rare to be able go out for a meal these days without finding some minor fault here and there, especially when you are as picky as we are! However, try as we might, we could not find fault today! If you have yet to try this excellent restaurant I would urge you to do so now! Indian cuisine at its absolute finest! Portion sizes are just right too - they don't look huge but they certainly fill you up.
