We bought a passes for the group of Ironbridge Gorge museums and visited this along with a couple of others. The adults found mildly interesting and very informative. The children less so, rather too much like a dull history lesson.
Wouldn't rush back.
There was a tea room / restaurant, but there was little choice and the prices were high. we stopped off at a local pub instead.

Thank Lynne A

We came here after Ironbridge and paid over £9 each to get in. Although we were then given a yearly pass - we wouldnt be using this again. The museum was interesting but i do feel a multi ticket to cover all local amenities would be best value. We had access to Derby houses too but one was closed dues to lack of volunteers. Wouldnt really need to go back as exhibition doesnt change.

This is not really my interest, but as part of the Ironbridge passport we went, and were not disappointed. I learnt quite a lot, my husband is an engineer and he found it fascinating!

very interesting how Iron started and how it changed to improve it, early samples of iron and what it was used for over the early years .how the valley has changed since the start of production of Iron.
you could quite a few hours here.

Gave a good background to the history of the area with quite absorbing displays and information. Audio visual presentation also very good.
