“Beautiful cosy cottage”

We had an amazing week at this cottage.
We were greeted with some chocolate cake and wine- someone knew us well! It was really clean and welcoming.
The courtyard was used most evenings and the BBQ served us well. Our Labrador loved every minute of the holiday and it was great to have her with us. The cottage is well positioned for the beeches which we were so lucky to visit as the weather was amazing.
The owner communicated well with us from booking through to leaving the property. It was good to know that if we had any problems she was really easy to get hold of.
Overall we had a fabulous week staying here. Would certainly recommend.

“Perfect for Multiple Dogs!”

When we arrived at the cottage we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the courtyard, it is larger that it looks in the photos. We were greeted with a delicious chocolate cake and bottle of wine, perfect after a long journey :-)
The cottage was very clean spacious. It was like a home-from-home.
The 11 Cavaliers loved the cottage too :-)
The 1 and only issue we had were the stairs. They are very deep, me & my friend have back problems and struggled to get up and down the stairs. A downstairs toilet would make the cottage 100% perfect for us.

Thank you for the review, I'm so pleased you and your dogs enjoyed the cottage, I love the courtyard - it's a perfect sun trap! The stairs are a little steep, but luckily have a good strong hand rail to make it easier. Thanks for leaving the cottage so nice and tidy.
Kind regards Angela

We stayed at Samphire Cottage for Christmas and loved it so much we went back for the Easter holiday.
Cottage has everything you could possibly need. Perfect location. Our dogs adore staying here as well as it's only a 5 minutes drive from the dog friendly beach at Brancaster.
The locals are so friendly and the pub in the village is wonderful!!
We will return again and again

“The best New Year we have had, wonderfully relaxing”

We stayed at Samphire Cottage over the New a Year and had the most relaxing break. It's a home from home, everything that you could need. Docking is centrally located, Brancaster beach is just 10 minutes away and Wells and Holkham can be reached within 20 minutes. Holme next to the Sea is also just down the road, very quiet and beautiful. The local pub, The Railway Inn was excellent, just 100 yards along the road and the local Spsr spar sells all the essentials.

The bed was so comfortable and the open fire just lovely.

Thank you Angela for being so accommodating. Once again, your service has been second to none.

“Charming cosy cottage”

Stayed here for a few days after Christmas with my husband and our three dogs. We were in need of a relaxing break with access to the beach for the dogs to have some fun and Samphire cottage did not disappoint in any respect. It is spacious yet cosy and had everything we needed during our stay. Angela even left us some mince pies and mulled wine for our arrival.
Docking itself is a lovely friendly village in a great location. The Spar shop really does sell everything and the pub just over the road was welcoming and had fantastic food. There are so many beaches within 15 minutes drive from the cottage but Brancaster is much closer and a fantastic dog friendly beach.
Thank you Angela we had a lovely break and will likely be back!

We have just spent a blissful week at this delightful cottage in the lovely friendly village of Docking. The cottage is perfect, cosy and just the right size for us and our two border collies. The village has a fantastic spar shop that sells absolutely everything you could possibly need. The railway pub across the road is a warm and friendly pub, that serves excellent food. You are only 4 miles from the amazing Brancaster Beach, perfect for morning walks with the dogs before you go off exploring the wonderful North Norfolk coast. You are never far from anywhere, a perfect location for exploring this beautiful area. We are reluctant to recommend this fab cottage for purely selfish reasons as we definitely want to come back :)

Spent a week here between 24/9-1/10/16 with my husband and our three spaniels and what can we say. A little gem in a lovely village. It was wonderful, we didn't want to come home. A beautiful locally sourced cake and bottle of wine were on the table to welcome us. The cottage is beautiful and we would love to go back, we had a great time. Thank you Angela your communication from booking was superb.
