“Luxury cottage in great location”
Reviewed 24 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Fabulous spacious cottage. Possibly the best self catering place we’ve stayed in. All fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard. The garden is large and fully enclosed so great for kids and dogs. Great welcome pack, a fresh loaf was baking in the oven as we arrived! Bed was super comfy, bathrooms and kitchen spotlessly clean. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. All this, plus situated in the lovely village of Ludham, with a good little shop, butchers shop and 2 pubs. A walk to Womack Staithe on the glorious Norfolk Broads is a must. Lots of books, games and jigsaws available. We will definitely return to this cottage, we had a fabulous relaxing time.

“Lovely Cottage at Ludham”
Reviewed 25 February 2018 for a stay in February 2018

We stayed for a week in February at the Limes Farm Cottage.
The cottage is very well equipped with high standard furniture with a personal touch. So you don’t have the feeling to stay in showroom of a big well known furniture store, like you find a lot of holiday houses those days.
A nice touch is the aroma from the fresh baked homemade bread as part of the welcome package on arrival.
The Cottage is well situated to explore the highlights of the surrounding. Making a boat trip on the Broads, walking along the cost for watching the seals (Horsey), visiting Norwich, visiting some National Trust houses like Blickling estate or Holkham Hall with hundreds deers at the park.
We really had a marvellous time at the Limes Farm Cottage!

“Beautiful Cottage”
Reviewed 25 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We arrived at this cottage and was amazed. We had everything we could have needed and more. The Cottage was furnished to a very high standard and every thought had been given to provide a very homely atmosphere even down to the little welcome package left for us.

I loved the roll top bath and spent a lot of time in there with a good book.

There are many attractions nearby and we enjoyed the visit to Horsey Gap to see the seals on the beach.

Would really recommend this property.

“Beautiful, stunning accommodation”
Reviewed 29 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We have just got back yesterday from our lovely break at the Limes Farmhouse and I can honestly say of all the self catering accommodations we have been to, and we have been to lots!, this is truly the BEST! It is a perfect holiday home.

Everything was beautifully decorated to the highest standard. Lynne and Dave the lovely owners have literally thought of everything and MORE!!! We were truly impressed including the kids!

Nice touches was the delicious welcome pack which included homemade bread, eggs, apple juice, milk and traditional vinegar cake!!

Lots of toys and board games for children, which kept my 2 girls entertained along with the play area in the garden, and the owners friendly dog FRODO!

Lots of information on things to do around Norfolk was provided, we crammed a lot in a week, it was our fist time here, we hired a boat, visited Cromer, Gt Yarmouth,
Sea Palling, Happisburgh, Norwich, to name a few, saw the seals at Horsey Gap. Went on the steam train through the Bure Valley to Aylsham, had a ride on the electric eel and explored the wildlife at How Hill which is 5 mins away from
Farmhouse. There is so much more to do!!!

The accommodation is in a great location, where you can visit lots of gorgeous villages nearby and find quaint little tea rooms etc.

My 8 and 12 year old girls had a fabulous time and want to come back again.

Would throughly recommend this place, and booking directly with the owners, I promise you will not be disappointed.

“Elegant comfort with all the bells and whistles.”
Reviewed 1 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

If you want to feel spoilt and relaxed immediately on arrival, Limes Farm hits the spot. We stayed in Limes Farmhouse and loved it from the moment we walked through the door. Dave and Lyn , the owners, have decorated and furnished the place perfectly and have provided every creature comfort you can think of ( and probably a few you haven't). There are excellent walks from your front door, our dog loved the wood-burning stove, as did we, and we came away refreshed and invigorated. This would be a perfect spot for a writer to work, being both comfortable and tranquil without being isolated, as there is a one bedroom cottage as part of the complex. Outstanding in every way.

“Perfect holiday home”
Reviewed 18 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

So welcoming and with every little detail thought of and catered for this house could be described as home from home except it is much nicer than our real home!

The interior decoration is of very high standard and creates a lovely space to relax in, as does the beautiful garden. The children loved the front garden too, with play areas, chickens and a very friendly dog to keep them amused!

It is perfectly situated to visit all of the lovely villages on the broads and also not far away from Norwich or Great Yarmouth.

There are a number of countryside walks right from the doorstep with amazing wildlife viewing opportunities and beautiful views.

Lynne and Dave put so much love and care into making this a perfect holiday home and ensuring their visitors are all well catered for and have a lovely time, we love it just as much and can't wait to go back!
