We loved staying here. It's a great house tucked out of sight in an idyllic setting. The house is spacious set in secluded grounds but only a brief walk to the main road.
Fantastic hosts who made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. The welcome pack of fresh bread, milk and eggs (from their own hens to whom we were introduced) was a nice touch. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
There's a large gated enclosure creating a big space for children to play or grown ups just to sit out in the sunshine. The wildlife even outside the window is wonderful!
We'd have no hesitation staying here again and highly recommend it.
Ian & Angie, Thank you both for a great trip!
We enjoyed our stay very much. Plenty of room and lovely court yard garden, great place for walking and lots to see.
Great setting. Could not fault the accommodation. Ian & Angela were such great hosts, nothing was too much trouble.
After making a late booking for September we were so lucky to find this large wing of a converted barn, offering all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay in a lovely part of this county. The owners, Angie and Ian, are very friendly and helpful, and took the trouble to ensure we had an enjoyable stay, and we would not hesitate to recommend the accommodation to other travellers. In quiet semi rural surroundings it is an ideal place to explore this part of the county. It is also worth noting it is dog friendly. For Sunday lunch or lunchtime meals and afternoon tea, nearby Dents Cafe within Dents Farm Shop at Hilgay is worth journeying to.
Great well equiped property.Owners very friendly and helpful.Made to feel very welcome with flowers basic essentials and a tea tray ready for that essential cuppa.Beautiful garden.
