“Good place to stay”
Reviewed 10 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Excellent place to stay, owner & neighbour very helpful. Cottage has everything you need: TV with Internet access (Netflix etc.), video player and videos, dvd player and dvd's, board games, books, deck chairs, iron and ironing board, hoover, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, washing machine and washing line, free internet access with wi-fi. Excellent shop within walking distance, staff very friendly, sold everything we needed apart from alcohol, bought some from Southwold (our favourite place to visit). There is a pub nearby but unfortunately it was closed for refurbishment during our stay. The cottage also has it's own private garden (about a 30 second walk from the cottage) with table and chairs and was very peaceful. There is off road parking however it is difficult to access if you have a large car due to the tight turns, and trying to get in and out from the busy road, however there are no parking restrictions outside the front of the cottages and plenty of room for several vehicles. Master bedroom is huge with plenty of storage. The road is very busy at the front of the cottages, never bothered us though, maybe an issue if your a light sleeper. Only things I would change is to add a blind in the bathroom (owner has said this will be done for the next visitors), put a small fence around the garden to block off a ditch at the bottom to make it safer for young children and add a slide and swing in the garden, a travel cot would of been good because we forgot to bring ours. We recommend this as a good place to stay and explore Suffolk. There is lots of information provided in the cottage for nearby places to explore including bus time tables. The owners seem to have thought of nearly everything you need.

“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed 27 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

This is a very charming cottage and has everything that you could need for your time away from home on holiday in Suffolk.
It is very comfortable and the garden is peaceful.
The local town of Halesworth is nice with great pubs and historic architecture.
The coast is only 15 minutes drive away down beautiful lanes, this is an idea base for exploring the area.
