“Blissful afternoon on an immaculate estate with some fantastic wine”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

What a great day out! A group of 4 of us booked a midday tour and tasting after tasting the Balfour Sparking Rose in Borough Market and we were not disappointed. Special thanks to Sheryl who not only picked us up from the station, but led our tour and tasting and also dropped us at the Pub after for our lunch reservation. It was a great, informative tour on beautiful grounds amongst the grapes and apple trees (they do Cider also). Then sitting outside the winery in the sunshine after tasting the wines was idyllic. The cider was an unexpected surprise...
A highly recommended day out.

“hush heath vineyard”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

What a fantastic place a real hidden gem. I was treated by a friend as special birthday present to a fab tour of the vineyards by a great guide then onto the wine making and bottling area after that some great tastings and a lovely picnic box for two which was washed down with a glass of their award winning rose fizz, a fab day out, prices are more for what you would pay for a bottle of wine at supermarket but well worth it, you definitely can taste the difference and as the saying goes, youget what u pay for which is quality.would defo go again.

We have had a wonderful afternoon at Hush Heath hidden away in the Kent countryside. Our guide was very friendly and the tour of the vineyards, orchards and winery was very informative. Our picnic lunch was delicious all locally sourced accompanied by a nettle and apple cider, very refreshing. The wines and ciders produced at Hush Heath are all delicious and we really enjoyed tasting them in the glorious sunshine. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend it to anyone as an excellent day out.

“Fabulous day out!”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

Amazing birthday treat with girlfriends. Tour of the vineyard and then the winery - fascinating. Then tasted loads of superb wines and ciders. Topped off with an excellent lunch - with a bottle of our favourite wine of course! Fabulous day - can't recommend it enough!

“Amazing hidden gem”
Reviewed 18 May 2014 via mobile

Visit on Saturday as part of a group of 11 ladies, from the start to the end we were looked after extremely well and enjoyed every moment. We had lunch outside and were brought hamper style boxes that initially didn't look like much but once opened it was fantastic! Probably the best 'picnic' style lunch we have had. All of the produce was clearly very fresh and if not home made, very we'll sourced. With our lunch we enjoyed a few bottles of the Nannette 2009 which was the perfect accompaniment to the delightful food and glorious weather. We were then taken on a tour of the grounds where our guide kept it light, informative and very interesting. She obviously had a real passion for the vineyard and seemed to be full of knowledge on all aspects of hush Heath. After the lovely tour, which also took us through some amazing woodland, we made or way back to the production line and we had a tour and explanation if how the wine is produced, bottled, aged and then labelled. The wine tasting after was very enjoyable, we tried some sparkling wines as well as ciders and apple juice. Try the nettle cider!! It's so refreshing and for me tasted like the smell of lillies!!
I would certainly recommend Hush Heath as a day/afternoon out, it's an amazing place and I can't wait to find an excuse to go back again!!
