We've just returned from 3 nights in the yurt with our 2 children. We had a wonderful time - sadly the weather didn't play ball but we enjoyed the cosy yurt, the fire for cooking and toasting marshmallows and the adventures of the field shower. It's comfy and cosy, but you do need to enjoy roughing it a bit - which we do - everything takes longer when camping even in this more upmarket style! We recommend bringing layers - as you just never know what the weather will do or how muddy and wet the kids will be exploring the field! A small Bbq would be good to make cooking a little easier and quicker - but we also enjoyed breakfast out at Thyme and Chillies and lunch at a pub nearby, plus Chichester amenities and the Weald and Downland Museum. We will definitely be back - beautiful part of the country and a fantastic base to relax and explore. Thanks for having us!
From the moment we arrived, I could feel the stress and worry of everyday life just easing away. Bob and Nancy are wonderful and to be greeted with such a warm welcome and then for it to be followed by a scrumptious cream tea was truly a fantastic start to a magical weekend stay. The yurt has such a homely feel and Bob and Nancy have added little touches here and there so there really isn't anything else you would need, even the flowers on the table made for such a heart warming moment. To lay in bed snuggled up, toasty and warm (occasionally too warm, resist putting that last log on the burner) and to wake up without an alarm clock, listening to the sheep in the distance or to the dawn chorus was pure heaven, as was cooking dinner on an open fire and looking up at the night sky full of stars, didn't brave the outside shower but need to save things to do next time we visit. Wonderful walk along west wittering beach, even though it was windy and a delicious Sunday roast at The Lamb Inn on the B2179, think next time we'll bring the push bikes and explore further. Really didn't want to leave a review because I don't want everyone booking up our little piece of heaven but Bob and Nancy deserve it as they have provided such a unique and magical place to stay xxxx

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Such a unique and refreshing holiday. We travelled with our two young children (aged 3 and 7) and they absolutely loved everything about yurt. It was a big adventure for them. They are still asking now when we can next go! The hosts Bob and Nancy are a lovely friendly couple. They are accessible if you need anything, but happy to leave you to it if you don't want any interference. They provided everything we needed for our stay. The yurt was clean and comfortable. The price was very fair and affordable. A wonderful experience. I couldn't recommend highly enough. We will definitely be back!
Thank you from myself, my partner and the dogs we all had a great week. I would recommend this holiday to anyone and look forward to going back in the future.

We had such a lovely holiday in the yurt in a field! The field was really a part of the deal as it was so wonderful to have so much space and not share it with other campers. Bob gave us a warm welcome and could not do enough for us. We loved how everything there seems to have been made by Bob out of whatever was to hand. We loved lighting a fire to cook and warm the shower. The yurt was cosy and comfy, but it still felt like a "back to nature" experience. We had a whole week there, the weather did a bit of everything, but we were comfortable the whole time. Our fave place to visit was the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum. We would love to go back to Bob's yurt for another holiday.

We had a wonderful stay here and even though we had both good and bad weather the yurt and its surroundings enabled us to enjoy both -staying out on the clear night to watch the amazing star filled sky and snuggling up with books and games when it wouldn't stop raining. We would highly recommend this amazing experience and the local area particularly The Lamb Inn which was a great alternative after a barbecue the night before.

No running hot water, air con or complimentary bath oils. We had a Yurt, a field, a visiting deer, logs to burn, water to heat above the fire, a tub to bath in, all to ourselves. It was a great experience to share alone!
