Recommended by many who had come before. Entirely satisfied. We stayed after a wedding in order to avoid driving home. Met every need. A very short taxi ride from the castle. A sixties bungalow possibly slightly extended but with exclusive use of a well equipped bedroom and sitting/dining room. Set about 500m from a very attractive stretch of the Tamar just down the private lane or about 700m in the other direction from Halton Quay itself which has a levee and an old quay office neatly converted into a dinky chapel. The family who run Higher Chapel Farm are lovely salt of the earth types who couldn't have been more helpful. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was gargantuan although we could have down scaled on request. This B & B is slightly off the beaten track but perfect for a good value night's accommodation. Pity we'd left the camera back at the venue of we would have added some more photos showing the excellent setting and views.
