Very sweet cottage but with all the modern conveniences we expect now . The kitchen was very well equipped , with condiments to use if needed . Bathroom spacious with a good hot powerful shower . Wood burner for the chilly nights . It is on a busy road but we heard no road noise . Parking is right outside the cottage , although on a steep slope my husband had no problem parking there . Things to improve would be a fools guide for operating the central heating , we had a warm spell and it was to hot ! Also the cottage accepts dogs which is brilliant but the garden is not secure so beware ! It is also not near a pub , only the golf course bar , not an issue for us but some may like to walk to a pub in the evening . From the road by the side of the golf club you can walk all the way to the Coast along into Larne , quite steep in places so beware , good shoes and general fitness required .

The only reason for not awarding 5 stars is the slightly tiresome parking arrangements. This cottage is by far the best equipped self catering accommodation we've stayed at.
