we stayed in this hotel on our way to Schwangau just to stplit to journey. Although we arrived quite late, the staff were very friendly and more than helpful. We enjoyed a fantastic meal in the restaurant and then had a great sleep in very spacious bedrooms. Breakfast was lovely too. Highly recommend.

This bed and breakfast is a wonderful little place to stay. The rooms are fresh, stylish, and very clean. The bathroom was much larger than I would have expected. The only drawback was no A/C. It doesn't get too hot in the area, but being on the third floor (counting in US floors, not European floors) was just a few degrees warmer than my perfect temperature - probably 75 to 78 degrees F? There was a fan in the room, which came in handy and made it a much more pleasant stay. I'm not sure if there is elevator access. We only used the stairs. The breakfast was fantastic, included with the room. They had an assortment of rolls, meats, cheeses, jams, fresh assorted fruit, eggs, cereal, and yogurt. Plus, the staff had so much hospitality. Some of the staff speak more English than others, which gave me some difficulty when checking out, since I don't speak German, and I wasn't exactly sure what the particular staff member was asking me. It ended up getting figured out when she went to ask someone else. You can tell the staff wants you to have the best stay they can possibly give you.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a lower floor - it will probably be a little cooler in the summer.

We booked this hotel because we were arriving in Munich on a late flight(made even later by a hold up in the baggage hall). 15 minutes after leaving the airport we were in the Daimerwert hotel in Moosining where the evening staff had stayed up to greet us. As this is a family run hotel, the reception is not on 24 hour duty.

The room was very large tastefully designed and clean with an enormous en-suite bathroom. Needless to say, taking a shower was a luxurious experience. Mattresses were very comfortable (although the pillows were a bit lumpy). The only problem was that our room was on a main road so if you want to sleep with the windows open then prepare for some serious noise.
The following mornings breakfast was satisfactory and the staff were very friendly.

I stayed for one night at this hotel after a flight from Edinburgh which arrived late in the evening. It is a short drive from the airport along quiet roads (be sure to go out the eastern access from the airport, NOT the main route to the autobahn) which are mainly unlit between the small villages you pass through. It is a traditional southern Bavarian hotel, with a lot of wood finishings. Even though I arrived late, I was expected and welcomed. The staff, and some locals in the bar, were very friendly. My room was spotless with all the amenities one would expect. Breakfast was the typical buffet style that you find in that part of Germany with a good selection of fruit juice (the orange juice tasted as if it had been slightly over diluted), cereals, rolls, cold meats, cheeses, cheese spreads, yoghurts, jams etc. There were also some boiled eggs - the only cooked item I could see.
I chose this hotel as a convenient place for an overnight stop after my flight, being close enough to the airport but without airport prices, and I will certainly use it again in similar circumstances. But it also could be somewhere you spend a bit longer as in the nearby town of Erding (yes, where Erdinger beer comes from!) there is a spa called the Therme Erding which apparently has a very good reputation.

From the moment you enter, you feel very welcome. Friendly, clean, and good location for nearby Munich. Free parking across the street. Great beer garden. Breakfast with room. English menu. Drive to neaby Erding and catch the train to downtown Muich. Ask questions to get to the right stop in Munich.

We stayed here one night before flyiung back home from Munich. Hotel is very nice, owners are extremely friendly. Small advice: visit Therme Erding! It`s only 7 km away from hotel. The biggest thermal centre in Europe with 25 saunas is a great place to relax!
