We really enjoyed our week at La Tania. We visited at Easter for the last week of the season. Despite there not being much snow the piste into La Tania remained open until the very bottom where you needed to walk the last bit.

La Tania has all that you need and it is quick to get out of into the higher ski areas.

Normally a good resort for connections into courchevel and meribel, but towards the end of the season the runs lower down do not have any snow and they lack snow making equipment at the lower levels. You would have to ski higher up, or go into the courchevel and meribel valleys.

Purpose built resort for the 1992 winter Olympics, primarily self-catering units and a few smaller 3 star hotel. La Tania bubble takes people easily to join the 3 valley ski area and also useful if the runs down to the village turn brown (by April). Cheaper than other 3 valley locations for bed, food and drinks but still has a very nice atmosphere.

Would definite stay there again but only when the village has snow throughout to enable ski in & out from most of the location, otherwise it can be a long and steep (and muddy) walk to the bubble. Due to its location tends to lose the sun relatively early.
