We booked with Secret Paradise on a whim as I had a work trip in Europe so found super cheap flights to Male. We emailed Ruth to see if it was possible to squeeze as many islands as we could and to see it "all" in 4 days. We didn't think we would almost instantly get a reply with an amazing custom itinerary filled with adventures daily that we couldn't refuse. On route to Male things went a bit sideways and they lost our luggage so when we landed we were totally not dressed appropriately or even had toothbrushes. Our amazing guide Mash knew exactly where to go for us to get the necessities including bathingsuits and to help erase all our stress. The first day we stayed on Dhiffushi and had the dinner with a local family. It was such a cool experience and something totally different. We left giving big hugs to the entire family and kids. Over the next few days we island hopped to Huraa, Himmafushi, Gulhi and Maafushi. I don't want to write a million word review but don't think there's even enough words to explain each of the incredible experiences and memories we made. From walking on a sandbank in the middle of the turquoise ocean, to having dolphins come right up to our boat at sunset, then to whipping it home on a boat through a crazy storm. Each day was unique and incredible and we would finish it having the most delicious evening tea or coffee with Mash and sharing stories. All the guides we met were professional, kind and went above and beyond. We have travelled all over the world and hardly ever stay at resorts so we can meet the people of each country we visit and learn their culture. Thank you secret paradise, Ruth and Mash and the rest of your team for welcoming us to your world and sharing your hearts. We are very grateful
