As grandparents we decided to take our five and a half year old grandson, Monty, on a farm holiday to west wales. We arrived and were greeted by Kay, one of the owners, who is passionate about children of all ages knowing how to bond with her pigs and piglets, sheep, horses and ducks. She collects children and adults (if you want), each morning and night to feed the animals. She organises pony days for the children where they learn to do everything and I mean everything - who would have thought our little Monty would be trotting and attempting small jumps by the end of a very busy day. The farm is child friendly and it shows with children making friends and free to roam.
The cottages are cosy and everything is provided. In fact, after talking with other adults, it was clear we all thought the prices were incredibly reasonable and our hosts could certainly charge more, so book early to avoid disappointment as this will be one of the most relaxing holidays you have ever experienced due to Kay and her enthusiasm for children and animals living in harmony.More
