Decidedly shabby-chic, with a general feel of being a batchelor pad. My French aunt, who has more experience of holiday lets than I, was horrified by the shambolic collection of kitchen pans and the jumble of cleaning products and cloths. But what we wanted was somewhere we could relax with active infant-school kids, so the eccentric and lived-in living room and patio furniture suited us fine. The beds were good. The pool was great -- kids loved it. The garden was fine and so was the BBQ. Plenty of fridges, too. A second toilet (or at least a better ventilated one) would have been nice. But, really, those are small things. We wanted to chill, and this suited us fine. Almost impossible to find the place, though, thanks to eccentric house numbering.
