St Germain Du Puch is a lovely small town and ideal for touring around the wine producing areas of Bordeaux.
The Gite is quite close to a main road, has plenty of parking space, it is perfect for two people and is a minutes walk to a traditional bakery for the best bread and cakes you can buy. There is a superb Restaurant just a short walk away and a Carrefour Supermarket is just up the road.
The Gite has only been built this year and is modern, spotlessly clean and cool inside. Bathroom has a large shower, basin and toilet. Bed is really comfy and king sized.
The kitchen area has a large refrigerator, an electric hob and a microwave, kettle, coffee maker, all new of course.
The Gite is owned by one of the best wine producers in the area and a variety of their wines are placed in the Gite. A complimentary bottle of wine was in the fridge, icy cold to get us off to a good start to our holiday, priced between six and nine Euros a bottle. We stayed for nine nights and would definitely come back to stay here again..
There are some beautiful villages and towns to visit and all within easy reach, St Emilion for one. Not forgetting the beautiful city of Bordeaux with its wonderful architecture and the many great restaurants. (there is a park and ride if you need it) stay clear of the rush hour when going into Bordeaux,
We had a great holiday and can't wait to return.
