The rooms are nice and comfortable allowing for a good nights sleep. The pool on the roof is very small and perhaps a nice to have but nothing spectacular. Only a hand full of sun loungers but I expect the purpose for staying here would be mainly business. The location is not far from town but with the traffic the journey that should only take 15 minutes takes 50 minutes. If it is the town center you are aiming for perhaps there is something closer?
The Radisson Blue is within walking distance and has nice amenities to use at a daily price or just to walk over for a nice meal.
The food in the hotel restaurant was very nice though. We had mainly seafood and some mezzo and I can thoroughly recommend to eat there.
There is also the Opera House in walking distance with the most amazing Indian Restaurant which I cannot recommend highly enough.
The breakfast in the hotel is basic and ok if you are on the run. If you are after a comfortable bed for the night this is a good place to start, for more this hotel could potentially be a disappointment.

As most hotels in the center are quite expensive this hotel was not a bad deal. Service was good and the rooms clean and nice to be in. The price / quality value is good. Breakfast not spectacular but acceptable when you are there for just a few days.. in the evening you can walk to the Radisson for a nice drink in the garden.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff were friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean, however was only provided with one small towel and no toilet paper. Early morning I could hear some loud banging from upstairs which was annoying. The pool area was small and was covered so couldn't really sunbathe.

Had a one night stay in March during one of my Oman visits. The rooms are nice and clean. The hotel doesn't have any bars. The breakfast was excellent and its easy access to the airport. Lot of restaurants just out side the hotel to try the local delicacies.

Room Tip: All the same.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. It is located at the city centre and most of other hotels are located at the beach so taxi or a rented car is required. The hotel rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast and dinner buffets had a variety of food.

There is also a pool and a gym at the roof.

The unusual structure of the hotel - with a narrow frontage and trapezoidal shape makes one wonder what is in store .. but the 2 days stay turned out to be a good, comfortable one. There is hardly any noise in the rooms despite being on a main road, the rooms are spacious and clean. The mattresses can do with a replacement as they seem to soft.. Food is simple and freshly made and service is good. Just one word of caution .. get all your instructions to the hotel and terms in writing as there seems to be limited co-ordination between back office and front desk .. and some of the front desk staff seem to forget they are there to serve the hotel guests.
