In a renovated 1930s house, the museum traces the history of Muscat starting from 250 million years ago to the present day. Some of the displays are interactive and would be great for school kids. Other rooms I found a bit static though, with a lot of reading required, which I wasn’t really in the mood for.
Great air conditioning! I felt positively cold in some rooms.
