“Quite and nice”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

It is a good place to spend an evening. The villas up hill looks nice and so is the beach. Lots of parking. Look out for shower before you take a plunge into the sea.

“Long and sandy”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

This lovely beach is long and has a nice walkway, promenade to amble along, under the shade of coconut trees should you not wish to get sand between your toes. There are small BBQ areas as well although they can be littered with previous BBQ stuff. This strip of sand is very, very popular with locals boys who play football during the cooler afternoons and evenings. As such, be prepared to vacate the beach when the boys arrive! Football is a way of life and they are passionate about their game. Several games with full sides take place along the beach, for its entire stretch. Sit by the side and watch some great athleticism and some amusing tackles! Right next to a small shopping centre, with trendy cafes, this is a popular place for fashionistas to come and be seen. Muscle cars and top of the range exclusive cars parade the car park showing off and this is a spectacle in itself. This beach is very popular to come and watch the sun set over the sea horizon. Watch it from the beach or one of the cafes. Parking can be tricky at these times so get along early to ensure a spot. Lovely quality sand but watch out for groups of Indian males (if you're a lady) who like to gawp at scantily clad ladies sunbathing. They don't even try to hide their stares - they will stand very close and have a good look. Shoo them away with threats to call the police and they should go - it will soon be illegal for lone males/groups of males to do this but not quite yet. When the tide is out, stay and watch the local fishermen haul in their nets using 4x4s on the beach. Very exciting!

“Mesmerizing!”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

Liked:
1. Restaurants with sea facing sit outs, serving sheesah and authentic middle east cuisine
2. Clean Beach: can be tried for bicycling/ picnics with family
3. The beach has two fronts: one famous for good coffee shops, crepe cafes and the other one for quite peaceful shanties

“Nice beach close to many hotels”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

This is a public beach close to some of the major hotels. Worth a stroll. Can get busy at weekends. Worth the visit at least once.
