We spent 2 nights at the al Bustan Palace and I have to say it's still got the most comfortable beds ever, I slept soundly until 9 am. The breakfast is a large buffet with a fair selection. We had cream tea in the atrium and it was delicious. The first night we ate in the al Khirran restaurant, it was an Italian theme buffet. The lamb chops were delicious and beautifully cooked. The second night we ate at the pavilion restaurant and again the food was very good. The only think I would say needs improving is the speed of service while sitting on the beach, I ended up going to the bar to order food as there was no sign of the waiter. I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a luxurious getaway. It is expensive but luxury costs!
